The Indiana Fever dealt with a major injury crisis in 2025. Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham were among five players who suffered season-ending injuries throughout the campaign.

Despite the crisis, the Fever won the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup and reached the semifinals.

Indiana has been relatively healthy to start the 2026 season. Clark and Aliyah Boston have both missed one game each due to minor injuries, but they have since returned to action.

Offseason recruit Myisha Hines-Allen suffered a concerning injury scare in their last game. The 6-foot-1 forward was forced to exit against the Golden State Valkyries on Friday due to a left leg injury. The good news is that she was able to return to the game to close out the 90-82 win.

Indiana Fever coach Stephanie Whites shares update on Myisha Hines-Allen

Hines-Allen looked like she was in significant pain after she sustained the injury in the first quarter against the Valkyries. The 29-year-old had to be helped off the floor as she walked gingerly toward the bench.

Hines-Allen eventually returned to the game in the second quarter. She finished with two points, two rebounds, two assists, a steal and one block in 13 minutes of action.

Head coach Stephanie White was asked about Hines-Allen’s status during her media availability on Monday. The veteran coach shared a positive update on the veteran.

No concern,” White said of Hines-Allen. “I thought she just tweaked something. And more than anything, we just wanted to give her a moment.

The Fever have not provided an official injury report for their next game, which is on Thursday against the Valkyries. At this point, however, it appears that Hines-Allen is fine, and there are no signs she will sit out the Golden State game.

Hines-Allen joined the Fever in free agency during the offseason, signing a one-year, $315,000 contract. She’s played in all six games of the season thus far, averaging 5.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 18.7 minutes per contest.
