The Jets Schedule for the 2026 season is officially out, and the opener has a pretty interesting storyline right away. The Jets head to Tennessee in Week 1 to take on the Titans and former Jets head coach Robert Saleh. That game is going to get talked about a lot leading into opening weekend. Saleh faces the team that moved on from him, while the Jets begin Year 2 under Aaron Glenn with a completely different look from last season.

Even though Glenn is back for his second year as head coach, a lot has changed. He overhauled the coaching staff in the offseason, took over control of the defense himself, and brought in Frank Reich to run the offense. The Jets also made a major change at quarterback with Geno Smith now stepping in as the veteran starter.

The home opener comes in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers at MetLife Stadium. That should be one of the better early-season atmospheres on the home schedule.

Some other games Jets fans will have circled right away include:

  • Week 7 vs Miami Dolphins
  • Week 10 vs Buffalo Bills
  • Week 11 at Los Angeles Chargers
  • Week 14 vs Denver Broncos
  • Week 17 vs Minnesota Vikings

The Jets also finish the regular season on the road against Buffalo in Week 18.

There are definitely some tough road games on the schedule with trips to Kansas City, Detroit, Miami, Los Angeles, and Arizona. But with the roster changes and the new coaching setup, this season feels a little different compared to the last few years. There are still questions to answer, especially on offense, but there is also a fresh start feeling around the team heading into 2026.

The preseason schedule includes home games against Tampa Bay and the Giants, along with a road game in Pittsburgh.
