Fever linked to former No. 2 overall pick as trade deadline nears
The Indiana Fever are on fire lately, winning four consecutive games and are 18-10 for the season. Fans widely consider their lineup as one of the deepest and most complete in the WNBA. However, they can add even more firepower with the trade deadline looming.
While Indiana features Aliyah Boston, Monique Billings, Myisha Hines-Allen and Makayla Timpson in its frontcourt rotation, the team can acquire more players for depth. Bench production has been one of the Fever’s weak points, and adding a proven role player will strengthen their championship bid.
Rumors have circulated about several players being on the trade block, including the Los Angeles Sparks’ Cameron Brink and Kelsey Plum, among others. Indiana could scoop up a veteran who can contribute immediately ahead of the playoff push.

Indiana Fever linked to Cameron Brink trade
Brink entered the WNBA as the No. 2 pick in 2024 out of Stanford. She has struggled with consistency but could prove her worth with a new team. USA Today’s Northam linked her to Indiana.
“Brink could be a pick-and-roll partner for Caitlin Clark or Kelsey Mitchell, and rim-run when the Fever run their offense through point-forward Aliyah Boston,” Northam wrote. “This could be fun, but Brink also won’t be cheap to acquire.”
Landing Brink won’t be easy as Los Angeles will likely ask for a huge return. However, if Plum gets traded, it would signal that the Sparks are hitting the reset button. The Fever could entice them with a package of some draft capital, along with one or two players.
The 6-foot-4 center suffered a torn ACL in June 2024 and returned to action in July 2025. She is averaging 9.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.5 blocks in only 17.7 minutes per game this year. Brink has shown that she can be a valuable contributor in limited minutes. Indiana can potentially unlock her full potential with more playing time, and she can repay her high price tag with consistent numbers.
The WNBA trade deadline is on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. ET.
