Chicago Bulls rookie Caleb Wilson has made a good first impression in just over a month of being in the NBA. Not only did Wilson show his maturity and leadership traits, he also should off his skill set.
Wilson had a standout Summer League, earning praise from several analysts. He was one of the top performers overall in the four games he played over in Vegas, showing why the Bulls took him at No. 4 overall.
The rookie is also drawing comparisons to legendary players like Kevin Garnett and Tracy McGrady. If that’s the case, he will have a very promising career when it’s all said and done. But now, he’s earning praise from a Bulls legend, too.

Legendary Bulls’ forward Scottie Pippen was on had at the new Dicks House of Sports that opened in Schaumburg officially on Friday. He helped introduce the new space to the public after 11 months of construction. In the process, we were able to catch up with Pippen to discuss the opening as well as what he thinks about the Bulls’ rookie so far.
Pippen believes the Bulls have a star and a bright future.
“He’s a special player,” Pippen said. “He has a very bright future ahead of him. I’m looking forward to watching him develop.”

Pippen was drafted in the top five of the 1987 NBA Draft, so he knows what the pressure can be for a player drafted that high can have. He’s also a player who got better as the years went on, developing into one of the leagues’ stars.
For Pippen and other Bulls fans, it feels like the franchise has one of those guys in Wilson moving forward.
