The United Nations announced today that the famine in Gaza is the worst famine ever experienced in the Middle East. This announcement did not bring anything new. Quite the opposite. It did not clarify the extent of the famine and the worsening suffering we are experiencing. For nearly two years, we have been at risk of dying from hunger. Even when the occupation decided to drop food on us via aid planes, it dropped spoiled food and flour full of weevils and worms.
