My understanding of the female Freemason clubs and Wiccan covens came after I joined a Wiccan coven.
Before the internet in the 1990s, in my late 20s, I was living in New York City. I had moved to New York from a small Midwest town after college.
I took dance classes for exercise and befriended a woman a few years younger than me. One day, she invited to me come to her home for a special gathering of her female friends. I went and discovered it was a Wiccan witch’s coven.
Frankly, I was shocked about this–first I had no idea that these groups existed. This young witch was beautiful, married and a mother of a new born child–and she was a witch!?
Her husband was a devout Catholic.
Out of curiosity, I joined–for a while.
This young witch began her Wiccan journey as a teenager, when she was recruited from her dance class into a Wiccan coven by a highly regarded professor, that I knew of–but did not know was a witch. Of course, her parents had no idea their teen daughter was being indoctrinated into Wicca. I wondered how many women are secretly witches–in high places? I joined to learn more.
This young witch had just “graduated” from that professor’s witch’s coven and was starting her own witch coven and was recruiting women to join. Her coven met twice a month to be trained by her into the secret magic of Wicca. Incrementally, and slowly she was taking us down a dangerous and evil path –but at first it just seemed amusing –the little magic games, dances, songs and spells we were learning and getting drunk on mead, a mixture of wine and honey.
Then it slowly got more serious as the “teachings” turned to sex magic demonic brainwashing and manipulations.
One of the apprentices in our group, a young woman in her early 20s, was also in another coven and had passed into higher levels of indoctrination –especially in the sex magic part. At one meeting, she told us about her sex magic experiences–apparently she had been a virgin. I did not have the awareness or words to describe what she was telling us–but at the time my gut feeling was scared.
The month before when I saw her at our coven, she had this sweet clear innocent look in her eyes. Then after her sex magic ritual–which was just allowing herself to be molested by a bunch of strangers at the same time, while laying naked on an alter. Her eyes had become hard and cold with an evil snake-like glint. Her innocence was gone.
Now, I understand she went through a satanic ritual to open her soul to be infiltrated with legions of sex demons, which turned her into a sex addict and slave of Satan.
Eventually, our young witch leader, asked me to come an hour early to our next coven meeting, she wanted to share something with me. I came early; she confidentially offered me an opportunity to go to the next higher level –where I would be “in the know” about breaking down the other apprentices emotionally, psychologically and spiritually at their core vulnerable sexual self-level. But these insights would be kept from them during the process of breakdown. Of course, she did not refer to these machinations as ” breaking down” the young apprentices instead it was to “help them ascend.” She attempted to flatter me, telling me that I was being given this “opportunity” because “I had unique qualities” and because “I was the most beautiful witch in the coven.”
She continued to explain the next phases of our “ascension” -i.e. indoctrination. We were moving into the sex magic part –she called it “sky clad” where we would be invited to voluntarily sit in our coven circle naked. She told me how it would work: at first some women would only take off their shirts and sit in their bras, then eventually their underwear too. Then some women would take it all off and sit completely naked. Then after a while we would start to subtly pressure the women, who held-out until everyone sat butt naked in a circle for our coven meetings.
My young witch leader continued to explain privately to me the “sky clad” protocol after everyone was naked, the body shaming would start, disguised as therapeutic healing, to really get into the inner psyche to manipulate them. This process could take months. After everyone was broken down. She would stand naked, except for her crown, jewelry and wand, in the middle of our circle while we were all naked too and we were to “honor her with sex tributes.” This was done by the apprentices kissing her feet, breasts and/or genitals. Then she would give us some token gift of jewelry.
The first time, in about 1995, I heard the term “sky clad” was from this young witch leader.

Optional practice: Sky clad is not a mandatory part of Wicca, and many Wiccans do not participate in it. It is an optional choice and not all traditions require it.
The “sky-clad” coven training was the first step towards breaking down these young women to a place where they would allow themselves to lay naked on a “sacred alter” to have “sacred ritual sex” i.e. gang raped by a bunch of strangers to be demonically infested.
I decided at that point to quit. I left not attending that evening’s first “sky clad” coven, where the apprentices were going to be invited to “voluntarily” take off their clothing and sit naked in a circle.
