IFS Therapy for Personal Crisis Period
I’m struggling so much with everything right now! To help handle the stress, I’m going back to IFS self-therapy. I don’t know what else I can do! My panic attacks are bad, and even when I’m not having them I’m either extremely anxious OR exhausted. It’s not a workable mental space to be.
I haven’t really done much work on IFS since the Pandemic. It’s been a non-stop shit show since I got Covid and then the migraines, both for my personal life and for life “out there” in the world.

I’d like to find my scared aspects (mostly Shadows, but some protective Rays as well I’m sure) and start working with them. I’ve got to calm down my system! I can’t perform needed tasks if I’m falling apart.
I will start small: One contact session per week. Just that– enough to get some inner communication started.
This week, I’m going to go back and read those posts and re-familiarize myself with what I’ve learned thus far. Especially the starred ones! And then I know I haven’t really addressed the scared shadows, so that will be a new path to explore.
