It sounds strategic.

But it’s unstable.

Because if human reasoning sets the foundation, then Christianity becomes an “add-on” instead of the cornerstone. And when pressure comes, that structure can’t hold.

It was compromised from the beginning.

That’s what happens when you build on someone else’s ground… you don’t get to decide how the house stands.

But here’s the good news. God doesn’t wait for us to reason our way to Him… He acts, calls, and brings life where there was none.

Think about Lazarus. He wasn’t weighing options or analyzing evidence… he was dead.

But when Christ called, life came.

That’s what real conversion looks like—not man climbing upward, but God reaching down and awakening the heart. The ability to respond is given, not manufactured.

Yes, we speak. Yes, we reason. Yes, we persuade.

But the power isn’t ours.

Off-Grid Faith in a Collapsing World
