Authoritarianism and the trained Marxist

This is a guest commentary written by a beloved friend and brother of the TPOL community. It is just as applicable today as it was four years ago. [TPOL editor comments in brackets.]

The Trained Marxist…

Authoritarianism is the belief that people must obey the government completely and not be allowed freedom to act as they wish. Authoritarianism is opposed to individual freedom of thought and action. Authoritarian governments rule via mandates and compliance to state or political party desires and dictates. It is a government absent of bipartisan involvement.

These dictatorial forms of government will concentrate their power with a certain political or critical theory of rule.

It is said, “The freedom to create opposition political parties or other alternative political groupings with which to compete for power with the ruling group is either limited or nonexistent in authoritarian regimes.” (authoritarianism | Definition & Facts | Britannica) “It will come as a surprise to many to know that no Communist country today has become such by the free choice of the majority of the people of that country.” (H.E. Seidmeyer, Frankfurt, Germany, Communist Strategy In Their Takeover of Countries; The Threat of Communism, Pepperdine College, 1962 p 14)

The following nations are Authoritarian, i.e., they are socialistic, communistic, and dictatorial in their rule: Russia [despite its abandonment of communism and much of socialism], Cuba, China, Venezuela, Somalia, Afghanistan, North Korea, Iran, and a few more. Authoritarian governments are [often] a one-party rule, i.e., they are partisan in their rule. [To this list, we can add some of the American nations today: California, New York, Illinois, New Mexico, and perhaps others: one-party rule and dictatorial, even if “elected” to power.]

{Today, we have even more tyrants – authoritarians – we could add or remind ourselves of a lot more: Pritzger of Illinois, Newsom of California, Starmer of the UK, Carney of Canada. They do not (yet) have full authoritarian rule, but clearly are working hard to get it. Many would add The Donald to that number.]

Authoritarianism dictates and mandates where you live, how you travel and what you eat. Yes, the autocratic dictators are the “boss.” These authoritarian leaders oppose individual freedoms and rights, they want more federal government oversight of the nation.

People who support an authoritarian form of government accuse their opponents of such to cover their own objective as they advance and promote socialism, communism, and Marxism.

Authoritarian rule attacks and destroys the family: All people must be educated through the state schools, for there is no choice in education. [Often,] the Bible, churches, and a belief in God are forbidden, for authoritarian governments are secular and atheistic. The economy is subjugated to the Federal [central] government, thus working for yourself is restricted and looked down upon. In these societies, the people become dependent upon the government because they have lost their individual freedoms. [And the sense of responsibility so essential to exercising liberty.]

The Scriptures give us wisdom regarding autocratic bosses:

In 3rd John 9, we read of “the boss,” I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not receive us.” Diotrephes ruled the church where he was, for he was the church boss.

Authoritarianism is another name for Marxism, socialism, and communism [and our modern transnational progressivism (Tranzi)]. Listen careful to how people use their words, and you will learn from the misuse of this word as well.
