The Persecution Of Donald Trump

No President in my lifetime has been treated with the degree of hostility and disrespect as President Donald Trump. Before he ran for office he was beloved in New York. He gave Jesse Jackson free office suites on Wall Street. After the city spent years renovating the skating rink Trump took it over and finished it in months and below the estimate. He was awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, along with Rosa Parks and Muhammad Ali, for his contribution to American society while upholding the ideals of patriotism, tolerance, brotherhood and diversity. His book, “The Art of the Deal” and his television show, “The Apprentice” were very popular. But when he announced he was running for the Presidency as a Republican, New York, the legacy media and every Democrat became his enemy.

Republicans loved that he was a businessman not a politician. We loved that he would secure the border and end illegal immigration. We believed he would negotiate good trade deals, renegotiate NAFTA, move our Embassy to Jerusalem, not get involved in wars, unleash our energy, call BS on Climate Change and end any agreements with the WEF and UN’s 2030 Agenda. And he has.

When Trump was first elected in 2016 I attended a MoveOn.org meeting with several friends and a Breitbart reporter. We asked if they could start the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and were laughed down. They said they would resist and vigorously fight against EVERYTHING Trump wanted to do even if they thought it was a good policy. They wouldn’t allow him to have a single success. I’m not aware this has ever happened before. Certainly while working within the Tea Party during the Obama administration I never heard anyone make such a suggestion even though we were aware Obama was presiding over the decline of our country.

Trump’s first days in office were marred by leaked conversations with world leaders. Democrats immediately called for his impeachment. Comey quickly got rid of General Flynn who he knew would reveal the bad actors to Trump. And, of course, they began the phony “Russian Collusion” fraud with made up “evidence”. Remember Trump had already been investigated by the CIA, then the FBI and they found nothing….so they made things up. (Aside: If Trump had done anything illegal with Epstein don’t you think they would have used it instead of making things up?). The completely false report by Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman made about Trump’s call to New Ukrainian President Zelensky resulted in the first failed impeachment.

I’ll start the law fare with L. Jean Caroll’s 2019 accusation that Trump raped her in a Bergdorf’s dressing room. Let’s use some critical thinking. First, in order to bring these charges they changed the “statute of limitations”. When has that happened? Second, Bergdorf’s is a high end department store filled with shoppers. Salespeople stick close and have to unlock dressing rooms for you. Carroll can’t say what day, month or year this happened but claims it was sometime in the 1990’s. May I ask you, if a man was going to rape you in a crowded department store wouldn’t you scream or call out for help? Wouldn’t you think there would be customers in surrounding dressing rooms and sales people bring more clothes or letting other customers into rooms? AND she didn’t make this claim until more than 20 years later. How does someone defend against an accusation with no day, week or year? They awarded her $84 Million. Do you not see “reasonable doubt”?

January 2021, multiple suits over Trump inciting violence on January 6th which resulted in a second failed impeachment. I was there on January 6th. Trump incited nothing. He said to go peacefully and patriotically to the Capitol. I went. We sang the anthem, shouted “stop the steal” and made no threats. Peaceful protestors were pepper sprayed, tear gassed, flash banged and shot with rubber bullets. It seemed to me they were trying to provoke violence. I moved back from the front of the crowd to the grass. I was there at least a hour and a half with no violence from the crowd. The Capitol police continued the assault on the peaceful crowd so I left the Capitol and walked down the Mall among more than half the crowd. When I was nearly to the Lincoln memorial I heard violence had broken out. There were nearly a million people attending. Less than half even went to the Capitol and only about a hundred were involved in the violence. I now believe due to not being able to provoke us for hours of trying that the plants in the crowd started the violence.

In September 2022 the “statute of limitations” was AGAIN changed to allow NY AG Letitia James, who ran for office promising to “Get Trump!” to charge him with mortgage fraud. James claimed Trump inflated the value of Mar-a-lago to get favorable interest rates on a loan. Deutsche bank testified that they do their own appraisals and were happy to loan him the money which he paid back with interest in a timely fashion. They said they would be happy to make him more loans. I thought the trial was over after that, but not in NY. He was found guilty and fined $454 MILLION plus interest. Of course, as we believed the case was dismissed. Ironically, recently Letitia James has been found to have committed mortgage fraud several times….confirming for me that the Left always accuses the Right of doing what THEY ARE doing.

June 2023, not having the previous charges end Trump’s candidacy, the FBI was sent to raid Mar-a-lago for “classified documents”. When has a President’s home been raided before? Someone staged documents on the ground with “Classified” sheets next to them. Special Council Jack Smith had been unconstitutionally appointed and the case was dismissed.

August 2023, 13 felony counts to reverse Georgia’s election results due to a phone call where Trump asked them to find 11,780 votes. Trump wasn’t asking them to manufacture new votes, he was asking them to find fraudulent votes (and audits found many more than that). This was the Fanni Willis case. It was found she and her lover had been coordinating with the White House.

March 2024, 34 felony charges regarding Stormy Daniels. Michael Cohen had more to do with this case than Trump. Cohen admitted he didn’t believe Daniels but didn’t want the Trumps embarrassed so he took a mortgage on his house to pay Daniels. He then invoiced Trump for “legal services” 34 times to recoup the money. At some point Cohen was suicidal and his lawyer asked him if he had any dirt on Trump now was the time to use it. Cohen, even if this could save him, said he had nothing on Trump. Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 felony counts as if each of the 34 invoices was a separate crime. It was clear Trump wasn’t going to get a fair judge or jury in New York and he was found guilty. However, the case was overturned and dismissed later.

Added to all of this have been constant accusations from Democrats and legacy media that Trump and his supporters are racists, fascists, Nazi’s, homophobes, xenophobes, threats to democracy. Repeated false quotes like “very fine people”, “suckers and losers”. Biden called Trump supporters “domestic terrorists”. Every single policy or action or speech Trump gives is described by legacy media in the most negative terms possible. This has resulted in two assassination attempts.

People able to critically think didn’t believe a word from the legacy media and re-elected Trump both by popular vote and electoral college. But Democrats and legacy media have learned nothing and are doubling down. They continue to call him a “threat to democracy” and worse. Democrat members of congress, not only vote against everything, they refuse to compromise on anything. Trump said if Washington and Lincoln were resurrected and he appointed them the Democrats would vote against them.

I don’t want to hear another person say the violent rhetoric comes from both sides. We didn’t try to impeach Biden even though there was plenty of reason, we’ve never tried to keep anyone off the ballot, we don’t scream at Democrat voters, we don’t burn down cities, or censor people, or threaten death to people we disagree with.

I’ve never ended a friendship with a Democrat friend but Democrat friends have ended friendships with me. It hurts my heart to see such division and hostility in our country.

We need to get back to our Christian – Judeo roots. We need to love our neighbors. God bless President Trump. God bless America.
