Fragmentation underway in these States

Recent news reports have parroted the press release of the dictator ruling modern California. California, Oregon, and Washington have begun a process of secession. They are creating the “West Coast Health Alliance” which is (in their words) a response “… recent federal actions that have undermined the independence of the CDC and raised concerns about the politicization of science, California, Oregon, and Washington are beginning the process to provide evidence-based unified recommendations to their residents regarding who should receive immunizations and to help ensure the public has access and credible information for confidence in vaccine safety and efficacy.”

Notice that actual “human health” is not mentioned in this “what you need to know” quote: only vaccines.

Notice also that we are seeing (again) a common tactic of politicians (on both or all sides of the aisle and issues). Accusing their political opponents of doing exactly what they are doing. For half a decade, we saw Trump 1.0 and Uncle Joe “politicize the science.” And pretend that “science” is something it is not, and “science” is to be trusted when government says so.

The reality, as we have learned as we assembled the pieces of the jigsaw? In vaccines and many other ways (chronic diseases, epidemics, autism, etc.), we find out that “scientists” and government, and the health care industry have lied. Not just once, not just over a single period. But over decades and on a variety of health issues. When it comes to vaccines, it seems that COVID-19 (Coronavirus, the Beer Flu) is just the tip of the needle. Not just childhood vaccinations, but many others, have been shown (in the results of suppressed research) to not just be ineffective, but to be hazards to health and life. But the medical establishment and government elected officials and bureaucrats have hidden the truth and denied reality. They have demanded (and often gotten) religious levels of fervor, belief, and obedience for so-called science. “Science” which has been proved to be built on foundations of sand.

The results? Millions have died needlessly soon, millions more have suffered from both physical and emotional trauma. While the medical practitioners and medical industry (drug companies and more) and politicians have reaped incredible amounts of money. And expanded their already-unjustifiable power and influence.

Which is the very same thing that these State governors, as they thumb their noses at Trump, RFK Jr, and the remnants of the once-respectable CDC and other facets of the Department of Health and Human Services.

The irony is that the CDC of Bush I and II, Obummer, The Donald 1.0, and Uncle Joe deserves to have people disrespecting them. Indeed, trashing them. So in one sense, what CA, OR, and WA are doing is good. Lovers of liberty should even applaud them for preaching the gospel of secession and decentralization. Bravo! Do it to another couple of dozen federal agencies and “expert authorities” and liberty will be blessing us. (Although, we need to remember that they are still not anything but haters and enemies of liberty who clearly intend to be far more authoritarian than the present FedGov.)

Indeed, remember that this kind of Regressive, Woke politicians are the very ones that decry The Donald and Vance, Johnson, and even the late Kirk as “fascists.” Even while they tout an alliance between commercial businesses and government agencies that fits the very definition of fascism. They scream about the tyranny of Trump, his hatred of science, his constant challenges of their policies and proclamations. Even while they tighten the chains of tyranny around their own people ever more tightly.

It is, perhaps, surprising that they did not get her Imperial Highness, Lady High Governor of New Mexico, and several other State rulers, to join their Alliance. New Mexico, after all, is the State which is so proud of stealing more tax money from citizens and businesses to provide “universal free child care” in the State. (Colorado is working on going one better: free school meals for all school children including “early kindergarden” up to, presumably, Grade 12.) We will discuss the tyranny in New Mexico and Colorad in a future commentary.

Most people will not see this West Coast Health Allance as a step towards secession, but the signs are there. We see related and similar signs in other States.

One example is the formerly great State of Illinois. Her governor and the Lord Mayor of Chicago have also thumbed their noses at the FedGov and specifically at The Donald. Not just in court but on the streets as well. Police agencies have been ordered to stand down and not respond to violence and threats of violence towards federal employees.

The Donald, with or without good reason and not just ego, has publically called for them to be jailed. Would due process and the current pitiful condition of the American court system result in this? Don’t hold your breath. But in the interests of promoting liberty and decentralization, we cheer on these thugs. Even while reminding their citizens that they can do the same thing to those two worthies: disrespect, disobey, and claim evil actions and attitudes that must be challenged.

At the same time we ask, what precisely will The Donald’s DOJ charge them with? Could it not be insurrection and even sedition? That would, of course, fully justify even constitutionally the introduction of Federal troops (including federalized National Guard). Fun, eh?

But a reminder to us all. As matters continue to deteriorate, do not put your trust in human princes. In human rulers and governments. And do not make the mistake of believing either side fully on any issue. Especially your health!
