Minnesota failing – what next?

For many people, the State of Minnesota is a whole stewpot full of “lessons that need to be learned.” In recent days, a whole lot of scandalous information is leaking out. Since often this is being put out by various political factions, we are trying to sort things out, and share with our readers.

First off, understand, there are a lot of fraud cases being claimed involving Minnesota, the State’s political leaders (including elected officials), the bureaucracy, and especially (but not only) the immigrant community (especially the Somali one).

Tim’s Walz’s national standing, and his less than stellar reputation (in the eyes of many) is also a factor.

First off, we have a fraud case: none of this have even gone to court yet, let alone resulted either in a guilty plea or a verdict of guilty.

The Walz regime is accused of fraud for failing to provide basic oversight of the State’s Feeding Our Future (FOF) program. It is claimed that this is one of the largest welfare fraud scandals in American history: more than $250 million lost from fake child-nutrition claims.

What happened? Politically-connected “nonprofit” (and non-governmental organizations, NGO) organizations, many or all associated with the Somali community, sucked up taxpayer money (that $250M). They did so with virtually no accountability. Even though both State officials and whistleblowers warned the Walz administration time after time. But the senior personnel, apparently mostly reporting directly to Walz, brushed the warnings aside. They deferred responsibility, claiming that it was Federal rules and bureaucrats that were to blame. And they did nothing. Finally the FBI stepped in. (Notice, this was under the current occupant of 1600 PA took office.)

It is strongly claimed that all of this is (first of all) evidence of systemic mismanagement. And not due to incompetence! People also point out that this is part of a much broader pattern: certain State administrations (certainly most are Democratic Woke types) have abused social welfare programs. (And continue to do so.) Why? To attract voters and donors.

There are grittier, more direct names for this: Vote buying. Quid pro quo.

The evidence seems to show, at a minimum, Tim Walz and his cronies and minions (his administration) did not “properly oversee” this (and other) programs. Why? FOF and its affiliates were in tight with protected political groups, especially the Somali-American community of nonprofit and for-profit businesses in the State. Especially in specific areas. Such as congressional district MN-CD-5.

So those committing the fraud took advantage of this relationship, these connections. This “thing of ours.” (Think in Italian: cosa nostra!) They knew that using racial-equity language, and seeking to avoid accusations of racial and ethnic discrimination, made the various State agencies loath to audit sites and programs operated by these immigrants.

Tim Walz knows this is true from his military service: “You only get what you inspect, not what you expect.” And maybe he is corrupt enough that he knew that.

Of course, it is a no-brainer to figure out who is the representative from district MN-CD-5! Ilhan Omar must remain in power. Walz (and the entire DFL party) want to ensure that she does have the votes of Somali-Americans. Even the Minneapolis Star-Tribune (hardly a conservative or libertarian publication) understands and states this is the case.

So is there an actual case likely to be successfully prosecuted? Fraud, corruption, political games often get overlooked or buried carefully. Two of Omar’s staff are implicated. Others on Omar’s staff (and her) know many of those who have been indicted by the federal Department of Justice. And it certainly is a criminal act if either Walz or Omar aided and abetted (or even covered up) this fraud. Even if it were not a quarter of a billion dollars!

Plainly, just how corrupt is the DFL-run government of the State of Minnesota. And how deep down into local government (county and municipal and all sorts of special districts) does it go? And honestly, is it just the DFL or are there GOP types involved also? And while the core of the infection is in the Somali-American community, what other ethnic or religious or racial groups are involved.

One of the more serious but still not quantified issues is this: how much of this money (and probably hundreds of millions of dollars more) made its way to eastern Africa to und Islamists and terrorists in general? Including those pirates infesting the Arabian Sea?

Just as the “Black Lives Matter” brohaha swept the States and the World (the George Floyd mess) the impact of this fraud now being investigated and prosecuted is reverberating around the world, not just here at home. And given Minneapolis-St. Paul’s imperial predilections and ambitions, those of us who are in many ways de facto colonies of Minnesota have no doubt been infiltrated with the same sort of corruption.
