The REAL explanation of the domination of the United States Empire

Many Christian institutions and groups extol the greatness and success of the USA as a divinely ordained and authorized superpower – God’s gift to humanity in place of the ancient Chosen Nation, Israel.  This biased idealization needs challenging and revision. The reason for the great prosperity, technological advantage and military supremacy of the United States is not as Max Weber would have us believe. Indeed, many economists have debunked his Myth of the Protestant work ethic.  Now here are some of the real reasons: -

1. The continent of America was sparsely populated when conquered by the invading Europeans. Many of the first settlers came in peace as religious refugees; but most of those that followed were conquerors. The technological advantage of the conquerors over the native inhabitants meant that the conquest was an easy push-over. Technological advantage in warfare (and other activities) did not originate in America through hard work and ethics alone; it was inherited and imported from their European parents. Europe actually provided the tools for conquering and making America great.
2. The socio-economic culture and norms of settler communities allowed more opportunity for everyone to seek their fortunes and develop their skills, not so much because these settlers were more generous than other nations but because America was a vast continent of rich unspoilt natural resources ready for the taking. The settlers didn’t have to barter or buy land or fishing and mineral rights as in Europe or most other empires, they simply took for themselves as much as they needed and there was no one to stop them.  
3. The settlers do not reflect the same character or level of intelligence and education as the countries from which they originated. They were a select superior group of adventurous, go-getter type of people, who decided to leave their homelands in frustration with the socio-economic restriction and oppression of the European (or Asian) class system. The unrepresentative selection process gave them three huge advantages over other countries: [1] Settlers were motivated to leave Europe by a spirit of aggressive, individualistic, self-interest that shaped the nation as much as their pioneering community spirit. [2] They did not initially need to share the fruits of their labour in taking care of the elderly, as those they left behind had to do. Nor did they have to provide contributions or charity for uplifting the poor, the sick, the mentally ill and disabled, all those they left behind. [3] They could contribute far more per capita in terms of education and skills towards the collective economy of strong, young healthy settlers.
4. Certainly, US citizens did work to build their prosperity. But as the case has been for all developing countries, the settlers soon learned the trick of importing slaves and peasants to build their personal fortunes with virtually free labour, like other great empires. You can either work for your prosperity or force others to work for you.
5. The settlers soon copied the European trick of instigating international wars as a means of protecting their corporate control of resources, trade access routes and obstructing competition. US politicians are very clever at talking peace while fighting wars to build their personal fortunes. It’s the best trick in the book. As today’s revisionist historians correctly point out, every great empire has always enriched and empowered itself through wars and the US is no different. You can either work for your prosperity or conquer and steal from others, or a combination of theft and slavery.
6. Once the US became the world’s leading economy, the final check-mate in the global competition of national economies was the really sly scheme agreed with oil producing countries to exclusively trade with US dollars for oil and gas. This is the key - global commerce and finance that places absolute trust in the value of the US dollar and the credit-worthiness the Federal Reserve Bank. The US petro-dollar is a disguised mechanism for exporting inflation to other nations with whom US corporations trade. The US petro-dollar is not a matter of exceptional values, hard work and ethics; it’s all about an unfair scheme that guarantees a financial advantage to the US economy for awhile. The crooked scheme embracing the US petro-dollar nearly succeeded in entrenching US supremacy forever; but it’s now under threat and so a global war (WW lll) is the way the US will try to prevent a change in the current international financial situation. 

The United States Vampire is much like the ancient Roman Empire with bigger and better toys in a new high-tech outfit. The Roman Empire fell apart after 600 years of success, like all other empires before and the United States Vampire will undoubtedly follow the same pattern. But rather than enjoying another 300 years of success, this generation will witness the most spectacular collapse of a civilization they thought was the eternal Kingdom of God.
