The MSM has provided Sally Yates a soapbox upon which to air her claims regarding Trump’s alleged relentless attack on democratic institutions.

Yet, the truth is that these institutions, namely the FBI and DOJ, have proven themselves to be corrupted and are, in and of themselves, attacking the very institutions that gave rise to them and that are institutionally and constitutionally responsible for maintaining oversight.

The FBI and DOJ crumble the very constitutional foundation upon which our entire legal system rests when they place themselves above the law and constitution by refusing to submit to congressional oversight.

The DOJ and FBI create nothing short a constitutional crisis by institutionalizing lawlessness as they expect congress to yield in the face of their criminal intransigence which should be legally interpreted as Obstruction of Justice, Contempt of Congress, Withholding of Evidence and Insubordination.

These violations require ethics complaints, criminal complaints and administrative disciplinary action that includes everything from employee dismissal to criminal charges.

If the FBI and DOJ can violate the legal duties they owe to U.S. Congress and the President of the United States, what think you they can do to those who wield no power nor influence in the media, law enforcement, legal establishment or legislative bodies? If the FBI and DOJ will not yield to the law, then by definition they have become a lawless tyranny.

When an agency can determine for itself when it will and will not follow the law, it has become absolute. How can Sally Yates defend becoming a law unto herself when she unilaterally decided to disobey President Trump’s orders regarding the implementation of immigration policy, a policy that was a major reason why many American voters had elected Trump to the highest office of the land? Moreover, the orders she refused to obey were later determined by the Supreme Court to be constitutional. If she did not want to follow the president’s orders, she should have resigned.

While Sally Yates berates Trump, I am sure you will not find one bit of evidence in her rantings pertinent to the subject of the FBI’s and DOJ’s defiance of constitutionally mandated oversight and its submission of subpeonaed documents. It is funny how the FBI and DOJ leaked to the press and now refuse to provide that same material to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence or the House Judiciary Committee.  It is clear they are hiding either criminal or embarrassing activity. This can not be allowed.

The resolution to the issue of the refusal by the FBI and DOJ to submit a subpoenaed two-page FISA warrant application to congress that will help answer many questions regarding whether there was abuse by the FBI and DOJ in the FISA application and a plot to subvert the democratic process may avert a constitutional crisis or even civil war.

What legal argument can you use when an agency simply refuses to acknowledge the law? It is only the refusal to submit to congress that is giving rise to and fueling this conflict.  As the FBI and DOJ always say, “If you have nothing to hide, then there is no reason for you not to cooperate. But, we all already know why they won’t cooperate and why they have waged their war against oversight while going on a no-holds-barred legal rampage.

The FBI and DOJ are most ruthless when it comes to demanding submission, yet now both act as if they are a separate branch of government and not beholden to the executive branch for command and control, the legislature for their funding and the judiciary for enforcement.

It is time they learn otherwise. Let them be taught by firings and enforcement action through criminal prosecutions if they want to receive the instruction provided to fools.  While we are at it, the Hoover Building ought to be renamed instead of rewarding its first director for his un-American activities.
