Buyer Beware The MAHA Agenda & Oklahoma State Proposed Laws & Amendments

This is Part I in an 8-part series examining these bills proposed for passage in the Oklahoma State legislature. It will include Oklahoma SB 1017 mentioned in the sources by Deevers.

If you have read, “Informed Consent: An Unalienable Right”, available on Amazon, you are aware that the right to informed consent involves the right to accept or refuse medical treatment of any kind, including any vaccines. That being said, why would any representative in a State legislature propose “law” guaranteeing and protecting that right when it already exists in the Ninth Amendment? This right to refuse medical treatment of vaccines was trampled by the federal government and the State governments concerning the CONvid-1984 mRNA gene therapy bioweapon. Moreover, State governments have trampled that right for quite some time when it comes to “mandating” childhood vaccines for attending public indoctrination centers, aka government schools.

Nevertheless, Oklahoma State lawmaker, Sen. Dusty Deevers (R-Elgin) “has proposed legislation ensuring the “right of a person to refuse any medical procedure, medical treatment, device, vaccine, or prophylactic.”

“In line with the MAHA agenda, I have introduced six bills to improve quality, transparency, accountability, decentralization, and freedom in health and medical care,” state Sen. Dusty Deevers said.

“Sen. Dusty Deevers, R-Elgin, announced on Thursday the filing of six bills to Make Oklahoma Healthy Again. In tandem with the MAHA agenda of President Trump and Health and Human Services Secretary nominee Robert F. Kennedy, Deevers introduced SB943, SB702, SB771, SB801, SB941, and SJR8,” a press release read.

The question that arises is, “Why are new laws needed at the State level when the Ninth Amendment covers the rights these laws propose to protect and guarantee?” Would it not be more prudent for the States to indicate to the federal government it cannot infringe upon rights, which are innumerable, retained by the people contained in the Ninth Amendment? Instead, Deevers, through legislation in the Oklahoma legislature, is seeking to “codify and enumerate” rights in the Ninth Amendment he has decided are retained by the people to recognize and guarantee at the state level.

The brief description of each of these bills given by Deevers will be presented as well as a brief description of Oklahoma SB 1017.

According to Deevers, SB 943, The Medical Freedom Act, would establish that “The right of a person to refuse any medical procedure, medical treatment, device, vaccine, or prophylactic shall not be questioned or interfered with in any manner. The right of a person to public accommodation, to the equal protection of the law, and to seek restitution for harm shall not be denied or infringed upon because of the exercise of the rights contained in this section.” [Emphasis Mine]

“The Health Education Act is a bill to ensure that public school health curriculum stays in their proper lane of teaching nutrition, exercise, and physical health rather than wading into liberal versions of sex ed and psychological counseling that should be left to parents,” Deevers continued. [This is SB 702, which combines with SB 1017 that is the entirety of The Health Education Act]

Regarding this bill, as well as SB1017, I will be speaking at a rally on February 7th at the Capitol alongside other colleagues concerned with the problem of ever-expanding school-based health care that infringes upon parental rights. [Emphasis Mine]

“SB771 would prohibit direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical advertising in Oklahoma. The US is one of only two countries in the world that allows this dangerous practice,” he continued. [Emphasis Mine]

“SB801, the Medicine Injury Justice Act, would establish that ‘Any pharmaceutical company whose products are proven to directly cause harm to an Oklahoma citizen shall be directly liable in Oklahoma state courts’ for damages caused. This is already a guarantee of the Oklahoma Constitution, as well as being according to common sense. An entire industry should not be shielded from harm caused by their products,” Deevers continued. SB941, the Truth in Medicine Act, would ensure that drug manufacturers publish all ingredients used in their products. [Emphasis Mine]

“Finally, the Food Freedom Amendment (SJR8). This would trigger a ballot initiative to add to the Oklahoma Constitution that ‘The right of a citizen of Oklahoma to cultivate food and to purchase food from the source of his or her choice shall not be infringed,’” Deevers added. [Emphasis Mine]

Why would an “amendment” to the Oklahoma Constitution be necessary to protect the right of Oklahoma citizens to cultivate their own food or purchase food from the source of their choice? Isn’t this already contained in the Ninth Amendment of the Constitution for the united States of America? Why would this “right of the people” need to be placed on a ballot to be voted upon by the people? It is a right all people retain.

Rep. Thomas Massie refers to “over regulation” of the “little guy” by government. Instead of introducing an amendment on the cultivation and purchase of food, why not invoke the Ninth Amendment to stop the usurpation of government into locally grown and sourced food by small farmers? Massie recognized that government has intruded on local farmers. But, his solution is a new constitutional amendment instead of relying on one already in existence – The Ninth Amendment. The solution would be to remove government regulations on the small farmer who sells locally and within State boundaries. People are capable of determining for themselves if a locally grown and sourced food product is appropriate for their needs. Likewise, people have the right to grown their own food, including raising animals for consumption, without any interference from government.

According to Deevers, “The MAHA agenda is one of the most positive developments in American politics and has a clear mandate from the voters. These bills aim to improve the health of Oklahomans by increasing quality, transparency, accountability, decentralization, and freedom in health and medical care.”

There are a lot of problems with the “Make America Health Again” (MAHA) agenda. First, government created the problem and now is offering a solution. It’s the playbook that has been used time and again with success. Private entities were allowed to usurp medical education in the united States without any objection by any level of government. Naturopathic medicine was exchanged for a totally allopathic model, not for the health of the public, but for the enrichment of those who usurped medicine. Pharmaceutical companies rose to great influence because of this, since natural medicines were maligned and demonized while synthetic medicines were lauded and promoted. The rise of the corporate physician emerged, following unconstitutional government agency “recommendations” and medical association “policies”, which led to a decline in health of the population. All levels of government protected the “beast” to the detriment of the people.

But, the people are grasping the MAHA agenda, developed by government and those interwoven with government, to solve problems created by government and private entities. It is the people who have to take control and responsibility for their own health by refusing to continue to let government and private entities provide the solutions. Why are naturopaths prohibited from practicing in the majority of States? It is to protect the medical-industrial complex that has been growing for over 100 years. You have the right to seek medical treatment from the provider of your choice, even a naturopath, but that has been denied by many States and the federal government due to laws that protect the current system.

Until the people truly learn the significance and importance of the Ninth Amendment, then act upon it, the people will be “slaves” to the beast and unconstitutional government regulation and usurpation. Buyer beware with this agenda! Measures you end up supporting may not be in line with what you actually seek.
