Former FBI Director James Comey calls for Trump’s assassination
BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 16, 2025: Former FBI Director James Comey is under investigation for an Instagram post seen as a potential threat, calling for the assassination of President Donald Trump.

The post has since been deleted, showing a photo shared by Comey describing what he calls a “shell formation” on a beach that formed the numbers “8647.” The post was quickly condemned by administration officials, Republican lawmakers and Trump allies who said the Instagram posting blatantly targeted Trump, the 47th president of the United States.
The Merriam-Webster dictionary revealed that “eighty-six” can informally mean “to get rid of.”
