The Case For Abolishing Homeland Security, & Why We Shouldn't Stop There

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

The unconstitutional Department of Homeland Security was manufactured into existence due to the ignorance and fear of the American public after September 11, 2001 in the unconstitutional and tyrannical PATRIOT Act.  Along with it came other unconstitutional agencies such as the TSA, ICE and Border Patrol, which are now becoming the standing army on our soil that those who framed the Constitution warned the people about.  Isn’t it time that the people end these unlawful agencies?

Don Via, Jr. provides a case for abolishing DHS, and a whole lot more.

The closer we look at the history of criminality and corruption of most of the federal government’s three letter agencies the more it becomes evident that they shouldn’t exist at all.

The Department of Homeland Security has shut down — at least temporarily. Reported Saturday morning February 14th, a lapse in funding has caused a partial shutdown of DHS, although as the New York Times reported, it ”was not expected to bring most of the department’s work to a halt yet could disrupt travelers, immigration enforcement and disaster relief if it is prolonged.”

While not particularly consequential in the grand scheme of things, as surely the uniparty will come to a compromise to keep their oligarchy enforcement arm open, it does bring up an interesting topic of conversation.

As most should be aware, Homeland Security is the parent department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and for those that have been following our reporting, or just casually paying attention to the volatility of the American police state, the rampant despotism with which ICE has been running amok on American streets is all too plain to see.

The agency has been behaving with a Gestapo-like vicious impunity, terrorizing communities and violating the constitution with wanton disregard targeting immigrants and American citizens alike. And while the administration disingenuously dismisses this despotism as attempting to “keep America safe” by targeting “the worst of the worst”, the facts tell a different story.

Official data from within ICE itself reviewed by the Cato Institute revealed the vast majority of people taken by ICE are far from the worst, with upwards of 90% having no violent criminal convictions and over half having no convictions at all. With a recent investigation by Reuters finding ICE illegally jailed People over 4,400 times in the last five months, even refusing to release individuals from captivity despite judges orders.

The agency is going on a spending spree, using its excessive budget to invest in surveillance tech and partnering with technocratic firms such as Palantir to expand their illegal spying on American communities. All the while being granted contracts by the US military to build a sprawling series of concentration camps across the country by purchasing warehouses, factories and industrial buildings for use as detention centers.

In lieu of these developments, it has resulted in an outpouring of outcry demanding for ICE to be abolished, and rightfully so. But the same can be said for their parent agency, as well as many others.

With as monolithic as the agency has become, those too young to remember may not be aware just how young the agency actually is. The Department of Homeland Security officially began operation on March 1st, 2003, making the agency a mere 23 years old.

And how has DHS been used to secure the homeland in the last two decades, you might ask?

Through federal grant programs such as the State Homeland Security Program and the Urban Areas Security Initiative, Homeland Security gave US police departments billions of dollars worth of tactical equipment that aided in the militarization of the American police state and the explosion of police violence that has terrorized American streets and cost countless innocent lives.

At the same time, in the name of “border security”, DHS was instrumental in establishing what has become a “constitution free zone” 100 miles inland around the entire circumference of the United States. An area so vast that it encompasses 66% of Americans (two thirds of the US population: 197.4 million people) in an authoritarian no man’s land essentially devoid of any constitutional protections.

All the while DHS has gone to great lengths to violate constitutional sanctity elsewhere. Creating databases to monitor and track journalists, become a hub of illegal domestic surveillance warrantlessly spying on millions of Americans, have attempted (and thankfully failed) to establish a ministry of truth style “disinformation governance board” as a means of controlling narratives and suppressing free speech, and has at times used American citizens as guinea pigs for biological testing.

Yet another agency that falls under the banner of Homeland Security and deserves just as much ire, the Transportation Security Administration, otherwise known as the TSA. The incompetence and uselessness of the TSA should be common knowledge for anyone who has had to deal with them at an airport terminal, but just as a quick refresher — The TSA was established in 2001 shortly after the September 11th false flag attack and was originally tasked with assuring safety and security at American Airlines, before expanding to other means of transportation as well.

They then spent the next 24 years failing miserably at their jobs and to date have not stopped a single terrorist attack.

They have, however;

Racked up two decades worth of sexual assault and molestation allegations that aren’t hard to find with a simple search, with over half of all TSA employees accused of misconduct and many being repeat offenders.

Further demonstrating the administration’s corruption and incompetence, they’ve also spent much of the time that they weren’t catching terrorists blatantly robbing American citizens, such as with the recent story of Rebecca Brown and her father, August “Terry” Rolin, whose life savings, nearly $10,000, were seized by TSA at Pittsburgh International Airport, according to a lawsuit.

In addition to theft, the TSA will from time to time dabble in drug smuggling. With one prominent case of many leading to several TSA officers indicted for trafficking over 20 tons of cocaine worth over $100 million into the US.

All the while, despite the copious amounts of sexual assault, robbery, and drug smuggling, the TSA has still found the time to expand its own prolific domestic surveillance program, complete with AI-assisted facial recognition biometrics.

When it comes to DHS, as well as their subservient administrations, I think it’s pretty clear, we didn’t need them 20 years ago, and we don’t need them now.

But of course, this sentiment extends well beyond the Department of Homeland Security. Be told most of the three letter agencies and various government departments that loom over American citizens are equally as destructive.

The FBI has been around for almost 120 years, and for that entire time has effectively acted as America’s unaccountable secret police, from being used by the Woodrow Wilson administration to roundup suspected World War one draft dodgers, to the sordid days of COINTELPRO and sabotaging the civil rights movement. The FBI has created a comprehensive illegal surveillance dragnet, committed hundreds of thousands of illegal searches and seizures, and built its entire reputation on entrapmentintimidation, and manufactured terrorist plots.

Similar to the FBI, the DEA has also invested a considerable amount of energy into stealing millions of dollars from American citizens. But of course, the Drug Enforcement Administration’s most lucrative racket is ensuring the flow of drugs onto American streets, because how else would they justify their own existence? The DEA has been exposed working with cartelstrafficking narcotics, and even helping to build cop cartels in which police officers built their own drug empire.

The ATF, despite spending most of its time infringing on the Second Amendment rights of American citizens with gun registries, weapons seizures and even murder, has also dipped its toes into racketeering and weapons trafficking, with the notorious Project Gunrunner and its subprojects Operation Fast and Furious and Operation Wide Receiver being among the most well known instances of agency corruption.  Yet despite all of this, the most infamous crimes for which the ATF should be abolished is their involvement with the Waco massacre and Oklahoma City bombing.

Of course, we can’t bring up theft without mentioning the IRS. The entire existence of the Internal Revenue Service is predicated on theft. Since its inception in the 1930s, the IRS has consistently been utilized as a political weapon to harass the enemies of those in power and unfairly target American citizens. From FDR to JFK, Nixon, Obama, and Trump, the IRS has been used as a tool for political advantage so much so that one could argue that is the agency’s sole purpose. Aside from bleeding American citizens dry with its extortionist tax codes, that is.

Finally, we can’t forget the CIA. The whole history of the Central Intelligence Agency is so fraught with corruption and wrongdoing that its reputation for criminality proceeds it. Drug traffickingassassinationsregime change coupsterrorismpropagandasurveillance, and unethical experimentation barely scratch the surface of the heinous acts committed by this wretched forsaken agency.

There are so many more three letter agencies that deserve our disdain, from the surveillance spooks at the NSA, the pharmaceutical frauds at the FDA, and many, many more. So much so that recounting their deluge of debauchery eventually becomes redundant. But it does make one thing abundantly clear, that none of these predacious parasitic institutions have ever made Americans any safer, happier, or more prosperous. Rather the opposite is true, and with these institutions so rotted to the core “reform” is just a word used by those who wish to maintain the status quo and avoid the ugly truth that these systems aren’t broken but working exactly as they were intended to, and as such should all be dismantled.

LIAR,.. U.S. Border Patrol was officially established on May 28, 1924, by an act of Congress, in response to increasing illegal immigration. Its initial mission was to combat illegal entries and human smuggling along the U.S. land borders.

TSA and ICE “were” created after 9/11… however,.. airports STILL had a security force present albeit a private one hired by the airlines.
