I was on with Rick to talk MidTermsSHIFT and I PLAY ROCKY movie review (see: https://rumble.com/v7hvlq2-midterm-election-bloodbath-recap-and-i-play-rocky-movie-review-maverick-new.html) and thanks to PugzRule commenting there for reporting the numbers I was too lazy to look up the exact stats I was generalizing about there on MAVERICK NEWS and in this piece: PugzRule said there: Voter turnout for the 2026 midterm elections was approximately 63%, which is lower than the 69% turnout in 2022 and 79% in 2018.

Yes, despite the few “really odd” Congressional Districts seats (and that is TRUE of both some DEM (DSA types) and some GOP (LiberalTarians that run as Republicans) seats) – those that would, did, support DSA level extremist talking points winning the day; the majority of those ultra Left Democrats RAN SWEARING THEY WERE “MODERATES” and the inDUHpendents fell for it again. Immediately after most Won their seat (including Abdul in MI who kept running Ads about “how normal” and “how Moderate” really he was)

the acceptance speeches filled with the ultra Left talking points again (many of those “swearing  ‘I AM NORMAL’ and ‘I AM MODERATE’ like Talarico in TX, the DSA level talking-points returned) that they tried distance themselves from while Running. And BOTTOM-LINE, while turnout “HIGH” by/for MIDTERMS STANDARDS they were not on the GOP as Trump said (and was correct) needed be 2016 and 2024 levels (like he said, pretend he was on the Ballot) and not enough for RIGHT to overcome the TDS Left early voting turnout levels. And as example: actual Moderate Republican (many whined about being RINO) Susan Collins was toppled after her holding that seat time after time she was always predicted would lose (this time, actually happened, to a Radical again “BUT I AM A MODERATE” line peddler).  ————–

OK, the #BLOODBATH is still not fully decided yet, and despite my early HOPEFUL posts, it is clear the #MidTermsSHIFT was in HURRICANE (BLUEnami (term courtesy of NEWSMAX)) FORCE level. 

Some will argue NO, # of flipped #USHouse seats nowhere near the upper #’s #History has delivered before HOWEVER that doesn’t tell full tale – as #Gerrymandering (both LEFT and RIGHT) gotten more intense over the last 2 decades and therefore there were FAR LESS ACTUAL COMPETITIVE SEATS TO POTENTIALLY FLIP – so reality (adjusted for inflation, if you will) 25 seat shift NOW more like 40 or more seat shifts of decades prior in a HURRICANE FORCE WAVE year. 

The #USSenate is what really tells that tale, with, as I type this, and it may not be done yet, a flip of 7 seats and that outpaces the 6 seats #obaMAO experienced in a #MidTermsSHIFT beating. LASTLY, you have to really drill down in the numbers of even #FL, #TN, and other GOV races that should not have been anywhere near as CLOSE as they were and may have stayed in #GOP hands BUT JUST BARELY (and that only happens in a MASSIVE WAVE YEAR)!

And don’t get me started on #TEXAS which was nowhere near as RED as people thought for a decade+ with not just #RINO #Republicans but straightup #TrojanHorse #GOP-ers (local, prior non-partisan posts winning DEMOCRATS, that ran as #Republicans in Primaries and Won and became shoe-in in General Elections and therefore how you get an #IMPEACHMENT of Paxton as happened as #Bush #Cornyn #RINOS teamed up with the #TrojanHorse Republicans in a FAR LESS RED #TXHouse than “appearances” sometimes fooled folks into believing that whole #TX A DEEP RED STATE MYTH (and further PROOF – why #Texas NEVER GOT the #SchoolChoice and other #GOP (REAL, CONSERVATIVE, REPUBLICAN) backed initiatives BLOCKED in #TXHouse and #TXSenate by the #RINOs and #TrojanHorse-ers that real Republicans in #Texas kept asking for. And that brings us to tonight in #TX and the #RINO class willing to let it all BURN and go FULL COMMUNIST rather than cooperate with CONSERVATIVES in the State to save the #TXGov, #TXUSSenate, and other Seats if #RINO Cornyn wouldn’t be allowed to cling to Power for the #RINO crew.  They hated real Conservative GOP Paxton from day 1 he became #TXAG. 

How much was/is fault of Business that moved out of COMMIEfornia fleeing to TX for a better climate (less Taxes, less Regulations, etc.) that brought BLUE VOTER WORKERS with them (related: /tea-party/2011/09/exportingexpanding-blue-ism-1145674.html) that failed to learn lesson why CA had to be fled from? Like happened already in large degree in AZ and likely turned NV from Red to Blue decade+ back)! Those companies not doing enough to FIGHT to keep TX the way it was that attracted them to TX in the first place?!?! Allowing TX to potentially now be COMMIEfornia-ed (what they fled)?!?! Will they now want to flee to FL or TN before that happens?!?!

Heavy/high (for a MidTerms) turnout on DAY OF (which favors GOP) was NOT enough to overcome the heavy / high (for a MidTerms) early-voting (which favors Left) across the entire Country.

Several CONSERVATIVE ballot initiatives did OK – but also not well enough to save GOP in places they passed and in part GOP may have been partially PUNISHED for not having passed the things the people wanted via CONGRESS (esp. THUNE and RINO USSenate inactions, like SAVE Act as a few Voter ID and requirements proving Citizenship to Vote were passed in several States) forcing the People in own States to do the initiatives locally instead. Keeping Men out of Womens Sports; Voting ID; Enforcing Citizenship requirement to Vote; prohibiting Kids from butchering their bodies requiring they GROW UP and BECOME ADULTS before making those decisions (Parental vs Govt, Left UNIONS, power over Children); Tax Caps several places on Property, Income, other, Taxes; etc. and more, initiatives PASSED across many States. Several items that would been NON-ISSUES had Thune and Senate RINOs got the SAVE Act passed (and unable to sell (actual reality, but since most do not know CIVICS-101 (result of dumbed-down Schooling, more on this in the TX section) don’t really understand) the message about how Schumer and Democrats kept it Blocked by Senate Filibuster Rules).

The BIG QUESTIONS that will now remain – how much was TDS and GOP USSenate NOT getting things done and passed on to Trump to sign that may have kept even more GOP Voters from turning out and potentially changing the outcome (with even more of the DAY OF Vote needed)? How much was DSA push? How much was the other ultra-Left, but not officially “DSA” Candidates playing the I AM A MODERATE lie card again? #ENEMEdia manipulation?

And, again, the WHO KNOWS REALLY why the #MidTermsSHIFT almost 99% time happens regardless of how good or bad things going and folks wanting DIVIDED GOVT (Executive and Legislative branches in different hands to STALL massive major fluctuations (Left or Right, any real overton-window shift) from able to happen)?!?!?! Will Dems in Congress OVER-REACH and piss off and cause swing back to/for GOP in 2028? Will Trump over-reach, and potentially drive USA (overton-window) even further LEFT in 2028?

STAGNATION – NO ACTUAL MOVEMENT allowed by Left control of CONGRESS: actually BEST CASE SCENARIO,

THE WORST CASE is that Trump continues to not be serious about DEFICIT SPENDING (and YES, I have been consistent and PRINCIPLED about Deficit spending since the Reagan days and Deficits and Debt were far smaller portions in relation to overall GDP, more able to be managed and controlled but NEVER REIGNED IN and allowed to balloon more and more out of control every POTUS (and spare me the GINGRICH/CLINTON Budgets and the IMAGINARY FUTURE BALANCE (they kept, and Newt STILL CLINGS TOO that LIE as the Budget was never, EVER, actually Balanced ANY CONGRESSIONAL FISCAL YEAR) that was never achieved as the Debt grew every year Clinton and Newt remained in Office and then completely ignored that “supposed SLOWER RATES OF GROWTH of Spending” compromise once RINO GW took Office)) and allows Left controlled Congress to inflate it from still around $2T to $3T and MORE INFLATION RATE growing NOT helping the “#AFFORDABILITY” issue the Left kept harping on (as supposed PROOF how “they really are MODERATES, not ultra Lefists) with help from #ENEMEdia but MAKING THOSE MATTERS WORSE.

SO, #POTUS47, BETTER keep his promise THIS TIME about CHECKING OVERALL SPENDING (spare me BUT #DOGE nibbling around the fringe edges, and did FOR A SHORT WHILE lower the Deficit by a couple hundred BILLION out of $7T spending EVERY YEAR (minor credit due thre but then quickly just ignored and the Deficit ballooned back to $2T again)) and very little permanent CUTS) and #VETO, #VETO, #VETO, as opposed to signing every Continuing Resolution came across his desk so far still containing the majority of Left Spending priorities these last couple of years which kept the Deficit WAY UP.
WILL TRUMP keep his VETO promises or like with HWBush “NO NEW TAXES” Pledge is it abandoned 5 seconds after it made?!?!? And, indeed, THIS MORNING (Wed. Nov. 4th 2026) Trump already MODERATING HIS TONE and saying HE WANTS TO WORK WITH THE DEMOCRATS and not have to VETO everything for the next 2 years (there will never again be a Republican POTUS if he caves to AMNESTY that Left will immediately be pushing for, the greatest failing of the Reagan years tarnished his legacy (as TIP and the Dem’s then got their Amnesty, creating the magnet for MORE ILLEGALS we all said would happen, and did, as doing it ONCE meant belief IT WOULD BE DONE AGAIN, and of course NEVER kept their side of the “DEAL” and never funded the promised (as part of the “supposed compromise” the Border Security increases) just like the “so-called” MOTOR VOTER LAW passed under Clinton GOP RINOs “compromised” on and gave LEFT their REGISTER ANYONE AND EVERYONE including NON-CITIZENS to Vote at the DMV and the OTHER PART OF THE LAW (required, SHALL, not may, not could) that the QVF’s WOULD BE CLEANED of NonCitizens, those that Died, those that moved, etc., BE REMOVED FROM THE VOTER ROLLS to limit Fraud (we all know Left blocks from happening to maintain Fraud and Cheat margins ability))!!! ——–

Now, any SILVER LINING? Well IF indeed you’re looking for ANY MODERATION from the Congress the MAYBE – the greater the Dem margin of House becomes the more the Establishment Wing of the DNC might be able to MODERATE and REIGN IN those DSA types (The Squad, now absorbed in THE BLOCK, as they are calling themselves) and Hakeem Jeffries likely to be able to become next Speaker and have WIGGLE ROOM (should he bother to choose to use it) too “moderate” the DSA side of the Party gaining more and more power/control in DNC pushing it further and further Left – and, again, SHOULD Hakeem CHOOSE (as, again, he too, the minute re-elected the “moderate” tone gone and back to DSA like talking points and demands for even greater and larger Fed level Govt boondoggles and higher Spending) to try to moderate (I don’t expect he will) once becoming Speaker. Already today Hakeem while on one hand peddling the AFFORDABILITY concern out the other side of his mouth promises (additional pledges, no, beyond that, the usual LEFT DEMANDS for) MORE FEDERAL GROWTH, MORE FEDERAL SPENDING, that would cause LESS AFFORDABILITY bringing back Biden STAGflation levels. Prices soaring ever higher, if Trump passes their priorities into Law, and those STAGflation levels return. Despite the “moderation” tone out one side of their mouths, the MORE, MORE, MORE, SPEND, SPEND, SPEND, grow the Government Class at expense of Job creations for actual Middle-Class Americans (more on payroll, more siphoning of TaxPayers dollars for Federal workers that TAKE out from the overall GDP of our Nation than contribute to/for it) cause more inflation, out the other side of their mouths.

As Reagan said: Never more than one generation away from losing our Freedoms here – and the Nation (by choice, or whether duped) again lurched the overton-window leftward. More toward MOBocracy (our Founders in creation of our CONSTITUTIONALLY LIMITED REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC, and was already massively eroded by the passage of the 17th Amendment and destruction of that States Rights check and balance), more toward INEPTocracy and CLEPTocracy.
