Russia issues military ultimatum to UK

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 6, 2024: The Foreign Ministry of Russia told London’s ambassador that Moscow is warning that it will retaliate against British targets in Ukraine or elsewhere, if the Kiev regime uses missiles provided by the UK to strike inside Russian territory.

The British Ambassador Nigel Casey was summoned on Monday to the ministry after remarks made by British Foreign Secretary David Cameron to Reuters, saying that Ukraine has the right to use long-range missiles sent by the UK to strike/attack deep inside the country of Russia.

In a statement issued after the meeting with the ministry making clear that “Casey was warned that the response to Ukrainian strikes using British weapons on Russian territory could be any British military facilities and equipment on the territory of Ukraine and beyond.” And that Cameron’s statements is aligning Britain to be a “de facto recognized…country, as a party to the [Ukraine] conflict.” And such statements by the British Secretary is “evidence of a serious escalation and confirmation of London’s increasing involvement in military operations on the side of Kiev.”

Since the start of the conflict in Ukraine, the United States and its allies have been providing Ukraine with weapons, to now include deliveries of more advanced long-range weapons to Kiev with the intention to use them on territories that Ukraine claims as its own – Crimea, the People’s Republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, and Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, but have also been attacking the Belgorod area of Russia. …
