Proposing resumed Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul to address the conflict’s root causes, Nebenzia criticized the West for supporting Kyiv’s “neo-Nazi regime” and ignoring the rights of Russian-speaking populations. He warned that continued Western involvement, including Germany’s alleged supply of long-range missiles, risks further escalation, while urging a halt to arms deliveries and Ukrainian mobilization as prerequisites for a sustainable ceasefire.
