In this 10 June 2026 video, host Cash Jordan talks about how after the downing of a US apache helicopter, combat missions took place over Iran which saw not only the complete rescue of the downed crew, but also strikes against hostile military threats on iranian soil.
An Iranian drone collided with and downed a U.S. Army Apache helicopter patrolling the Strait of Hormuz. At Trump’s direction, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) initiated “additional self-defense strikes” against multiple targets in Iran. A U.S. source reported that 20 specific targets in southern Iran were attacked, destroying infrastructure like water tanks and communication towers in regions including Sirik, Jask, and Qeshm Island.
During a White House event, Trump stated: “We hit them hard yesterday, and we’re going to hit them hard again today… Much of [their military], like their Navy and Air Force, doesn’t even exist anymore—they have been completely defeated.”
While the U.S. strikes have degraded certain specific military capabilities, defense and geopolitical experts caution that his claims of total defeat are an exaggeration. In reality, Iran remains fully capable of launching counter-attacks. Following the U.S. operations, Iran fired a wave of retaliatory missiles and drones targeting U.S. military bases in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait, though neighbor state air defenses successfully intercepted them.
