Seems to me that those who are actually hurting from snap being frozen blame Trump. The only voices I’ve heard defending Trump and blaming the democrats are from those who are blessed not to depend on govt benefits. The poor have taken a battering from inflation caused by tariffs and war spending. Most inflation hits the equity markets first, where the rich and those with 401k benefit. The working poor are left with a skyrocketing cost of living. Health insurance is financially out of reach for many people. Working class jobs often don’t offer health insurance, or mostly offer part time work with no benefits. Imagine if Trump stopped wasting money on war and prioritized America’s poor over sending money to Argentina, Israel, and all the other countries.
This whole fight over snap, medicaid, and Obamacare is designed to shine a light on the poor as the financial problem dogging America, and to take the light off of wasteful spending on foreign misadventures in the lead up to nuclear apocalypse. Worse, it may be provocation for the dividing of America and the creation of unrest, which will lead to martial law. The provocation for martial law is likely being timed for coming disasters.
