Senator Marsha Blackburn is leading the charge with the Fans First Act. The bill would require full disclosure of fees and ticket locations. It would strengthen the law banning bots and set serious penalties for violations. The FTC revealed that from 2019 to 2024 hidden fees totaled over 16 billion dollars. That is billion with a B. Kid Rock demanded Congress subpoena the contracts between artists, promoters, venues, and ticketing companies because he says they will find mountains of fraud.
