Many People Are Suggesting that the Rapture Will Take Place Sept 22-24, 2025 – During the Feast of the Trumpets – Let’s Talk About It

With the passing of “Stablecoin” last week, which is setting the foundation of a global financial system that can be controlled by “The Beast,” people are frantically trying to look for other end time prophecies to unfold as well. I’m very happy to see that so many are now waking up and realizing that we are in “End Times.”

So why the sudden chatter regarding the Rapture happening on Sept 22-24 this year?

Let me breakdown the details for you to see if there is any credibility to this claim, or if it is just wishful thinking from a great deal of people wanting to join the Savior and be done with this world.

Let’s start with an interesting fact. Did you know that the “Feast of the Trumpets” is often associated with the biblical phrase “no man knows the day or the hour” for several important historical and cultural reasons. This connection comes primarily from ancient Jewish tradition, not from a direct biblical quote about the feast itself. Here’s why:

It Begins on a New Moon

The Feast of Trumpets is the only biblical feast that begins on the first day of a month—Tishri 1, the first day of the seventh month in the Hebrew calendar. In ancient times, months were determined by the sighting of the new moon, which was difficult to predict with precision.

• A new moon is not visible right away.
• It could be seen either on the 29th or 30th day of the previous month.
• Therefore, the exact day and hour of the Feast’s beginning was unknown in advance.

This is why ancient rabbis would say, “Of that day or hour, no man knows—only the Father in heaven,” echoing the same language Jesus uses in Matthew 24:36 and Mark 13:32.

Jesus may have been alluding to the Feast of Trumpets here—His Jewish audience would likely have understood the phrase “no man knows the day or hour” as a reference to Yom Teruah.

Just MAYBE…Could this be what Christ was telling us relating to His coming? We have understood what He said to mean as it is written, that we would not know the day nor the hour of His coming. But, was he actually using this language to tell us exactly when He would come again? Intriguing thought, right?

Let’s keep learning about this…

The feast is centered on the blowing of trumpets (shofars)—a call to repentance, wakefulness, and alertness. The uncertainty of when it would begin emphasized the need to be ready at all times, just like the return of the Messiah.

The trumpet…We’ve heard that somewhere regarding Christ’s return, lets review that scripture detailing the Rapture:

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so, shall we ever be with the Lord.”

Yes, so the trumpet fits into the Feast of Trumpet celebration.

But, why THIS year? The Feast of the Trumpets happens EVERY year. I’m guessing that people are hopeful that it is this year, but have no additional evidence that this indeed will be the date of the rapture. So, if not then, when will the rapture occur?

To understand the timing of the Rapture, we must first understand its purpose. Why is Jesus coming for the Church, (His people)?

The purpose of the Rapture, as revealed in Scripture, is to rescue the true followers of Jesus Christ from the coming wrath and judgment that will be poured out upon the earth. The Rapture is a divine act of deliverance!

This event removes believers from the earth before the outpouring of God’s final judgments—often referred to as the Bowls of Wrath—which occur during the Tribulation period. These judgments are not meant for the Church but for those who have aligned themselves with evil and taken the Mark of the Beast.

The scriptures give evidence of this:

• 1 Thessalonians 1:10 (KJV)
  “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.”
• 1 Thessalonians 5:9 (KJV)
  “For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.”

God’s wrath is not aimed at His Church. His plan is to judge evil and defeat Satan, not punish the faithful. That is why believers are raptured—rescued before the wrath begins.

We know that God will begin pouring out His bowls of Wrath around the 3.5-year period into the 7-year Tribulation Period. Understanding this time frame, we can assume that the Rapture will happen prior to the 3.5-year mark.

Some teachers believe the Rapture occurs at the very start of the 7-year Tribulation. But if that’s the case, what are believers being rescued from? The first 3.5 years of the Tribulation are described as a time of apparent peace.

According to Daniel 9:27, the Antichrist “shall confirm the covenant with many for one week” (a prophetic week = seven years), likely referring to a peace agreement, possibly involving Israel. The world will believe peace has finally been achieved.

The first 3.5 years of the Tribulation Period are quite frankly …PEACEFUL. The new temple in Israel will be under construction, and the Antichrist will be brought to the world stage. Remember, at the beginning, he will be seen as “Awesome,” bringing peace to the world, and resolving many of the problems. He is in the period of seducing all of us into thinking that he is the leader that we all have been praying for. You can’t deceive by being forceful and destructive. That will indeed come later, after the honeymoon of deception.

The Antichrist will not come, initially, wanting to kill all of the Christians, nor be destructive in any way, as he will be trying to win us over.

So, with everything happening in the first 3.5 years of the Tribulation period, there is NO NEED for God to rescue us. Since rescuing us is His primary focus of the rapture, there must be danger, or as He has specifically said, Jesus would deliver us from the wrath that is to come.

In my humble opinion, through intense study and lots of prayer, I do not believe that the rapture will happen at the beginning of the Tribulation Period. Scripture suggests the logical placement PRIOR to the Beast “Abomination of Desolation” forcing people to take the mark, and prior to God pouring out His wrath…BOTH occurring at the 3.5-year mark.

Could the Rapture still occur on the “Feast of the Trumpets” in 3 or 4 years, perhaps. I don’t think that date setting is ever a good idea. Rather, I find more comfort in understanding the principles and battle plans of the Last Days.

I hope that you have found this information to be helpful. HOWEVER, If knowing these facts has made you disappointed thinking that you will have to wait longer for the rapture than you had first hoped, let me share a thought or two with you.

God is waiting as long as He is able to return to Earth, and the reason why is that there are still MANY of His children who have not yet accepted Him into their life. (This shows so much compassion to me. He is so patient).

He has also “called” you to be on the earth for these end times…why? One reason that I have found is that He wants us to help others right now in dealing with the end times. It is highly likely that you are a loving, compassionate person. God would like for you to use the time that we have left to reach out to others.

Help them be strong…Help them have courage…and if possible, teach them the Gospel of Jesus Christ as written in the New Testament. Learn it together. AI makes it easy to study His teachings. Learn of His Atonement; Learn what it means to be Born Again; Learn what awaits us in Heaven; Learn how to Repent; Learn how to love your neighbor.

By doing this you will find great joy, and the time left will be so fulfilling, and not just an anxious mess of time.

Alos, realize that you have got a front row seat in viewing one of the most important times in history. Don’t wish this away. Put on your backpack of truth, invite the Savior along and get out there and be a part of this wonderful history. There are others who are waiting for you to help them, so get after it!! =)
