Buring Man vs Jesus Christ. Have You Heard About This?

We spend a great deal of time discussing the “Last Days” and what will be coming as God and satan go head-to-head in the battle for your soul. We have received details from the New Testament teaching us what events are coming. But we do not have to wait another day to see evidence of how things will play out.

The Burning Man is often described as an arts festival, but at its core it carries strong spiritual, philosophical, and moral undertones that many Christians and biblical thinkers see as deeply troubling. From a biblical perspective, much of what takes place there can be seen as a celebration of the flesh, idolatry, and rebellion against God. Here are some of the major evils associated with Burning Man:

1. Idolatry and Pagan Rituals

• The central act of the festival is the burning of a giant wooden effigy (“the Man”), which resembles ancient pagan fire rituals.
• This act often symbolizes self-worship, human enlightenment without God, or the rejection of traditional morality.
• Scripture warns against idolatry: “Little children, keep yourselves from idols” (1 John 5:21).

2. Sexual Immorality

• Burning Man is infamous for rampant public nudity, open sexual activity, and “temples” devoted to sexual exploration.
• The festival often promotes polyamory, fornication, and lust-driven experiences, directly opposing God’s design for marriage and holiness.
• The Bible warns: “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body” (1 Corinthians 6:18).

3. Drug Use and Altered States

• Psychedelics and hallucinogens are a staple of the event, used to “open the mind” or connect to “higher consciousness.”
• Instead of seeking the Holy Spirit, participants pursue counterfeit spiritual experiences through substances.
• Scripture says: “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

4. False Spirituality and Occult Practices

• Burning Man promotes a blend of New Age, witchcraft, eastern mysticism, and occult symbolism.
• The “Temple” is often filled with altars, prayers to the dead, spirit-invocation rituals, and meditation practices that have nothing to do with God.
• The Bible is clear: “There shall not be found among you… an enchanter, or a witch, or a consulter with familiar spirits” (Deuteronomy 18:10–11).

5. Glorification of Self and Rebellion Against God

• The culture of Burning Man is “do what you want,” celebrating lawlessness and human-centered enlightenment.
• This spirit of rebellion mirrors the very deception of the Garden of Eden—humanity seeking to “be as gods” (Genesis 3:5).
• Paul warns: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves…” (2 Timothy 3:1–2).

Burning Man is not simply an arts festival. It is a modern-day pagan gathering where idolatry, immorality, sorcery, and rebellion are celebrated. To those with eyes to see, it reflects the very evils the Bible warns will flourish in the last days.

And what is God’s response to all of this evil? Let’s take a look:

A powerful dust storm swept through the Burning Man 2025 site in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert, delivering a shocking blow to the festival just as it was kicking off.

The storm descended on the eve of the festival’s official start—Saturday evening, August 23 in Black Rock Desert, Nevada. Winds reached sustained speeds of 45–52 mph, with gusts even higher, enough to whip up a thick “wall of blowing dust” that immediately reduced visibility to near zero.

The storm flattened campsites, tore away tents and structures, and destroyed the “Black Cloud” art installation—an 8-ton inflatable created by Ukrainian artists—which collapsed after just 15 minutes in the ferocious winds

Organizers temporarily closed gate access to Black Rock City and halted flights, while traffic into the festival site was snarled—entry delays of 6–8 hours were reported.

God’s message to Burning Man attendees could be summed up like this:
“Turn away from idolatry, lust, and false worship. What you are searching for in art, community, and self-expression can only be found in Me. I am the Creator of true light, joy, and life. Repent and believe on My Son, Jesus Christ, and I will give you the living water that satisfies your soul.”

Can you see the forces that are at hand right now? Are you able to interpret that God will not tolerate such evil, the specific evil that is occurring today, as demonstrated by evil events like Burning Man?

Yes, we are free to do as we would like, regardless of rules, or God’s laws. But nothing comes without the consequences that are always tied to our decisions. Participate in false worship and things of the flesh, God will fire off a “Warning Shot” through His power to let you see His displeasure. Continue in doing so, He has 7 Bowls of Wrath that He intends to pour out onto the inhabitants of the earth VERY SOON.

Can’t you see the connection? It is happening right before our eyes. “Do as you please, BUT God will bring you to your knees.”

Why do people seek this kind of “pleasure,” when what they truly should be striving for reaches far beyond this temporary feeling: Living with Jesus Christ in a glorious new world that He has created for His children. Existing in peace and harmony, surrounded by love, fulfillment, and adventure. And most notable, having a personal, powerful relationship with Jesus Christ that far exceeds any earthly relationship that one could imagine.

Do you realize that God’s journey comes without destruction of severe consequences, such as living in the “Lake of Fire,” for satan is no match for the powers of God. Why would a person participate in evil when we have been told that evil, and its followers, will soon be destroyed from the earth?

It is my guess that these people have had their minds so polluted that they can’t even see logic anymore. We are told of this very thing happening prior to the coming of Christ:

Matthew 24:37–39 (KJV):
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Luke 17:26–27 (KJV):
26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

You can choose to party and participate in the “pleasures of the flesh,” but in doing so, you will not be able to chose your soon destruction from the earth, as well as your permanent new eternal home…”The Lake of Fire” being a slave to the master that you are following right now, satan.

Just in writing this article, I feel the darkness of the world. It is depressing to think that this will be the forever outcome for many who chose to ignore the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.This darkness is immediately replaced when I think about the Savior and all that He has promised us. Our future is bright, and full of lasting pleasure and peace.

To those who are caught into the addiction of the flesh, I reach out to you in an attempt to rescue you from your doom. Come to know your Savior, Jesus Christ. Know that He died for you, and completed a very sacred sacrifice wherein that your sins can be forgiven.

Invite Him into your life. Follow His teachings as noted in the New Testament. Turn your life over to Him. Repent of your sins. In doing so, you will begin to see a “New Life.” Things will change for you right here and now.

You will also be protected from the bowls of wrath that God is planning to send to the earth. He will watch over you, and also welcome you into heaven as the world is destroyed.

There is so much peace in doing so. It feels right because it is right. Why would you choose any other outcome than this? The pleasure that you are currently seeking is temporary as well as distrustful. Seek the peace of Jesus Christ, and you will find happiness far greater than what you are currently experiencing.

For those of you already on the path of righteousness, I commend you. I also pray that we will all be able to endure to the end, and stay strong through the deception that is to come. Please pray for me. =)
