Civilizations living in Antarctica – Is There Any Truth Here? What do the Scriptures Reveal About this Possibility – It’s Time You Knew

Curious minds often create reasons to explore outlandish claims to see if there is any truth there. So it is, with civilizations living in Antarctica. Travel restrictions there seem to deepen the curiosity. Are they trying to hide something from us? What is behind the ice walls, as does it have anything to do with end times prophecy?

Let’s first look at the “Scientific Evidence” that has been provided:

There’s no evidence of a native human civilization in Antarctica. The continent has been covered in ice for ~34 million years. Before that, when it was warmer, it supported forests and dinosaurs, but not humans.

Today, only research stations exist (staffed by scientists and support crews). No permanent population lives there.

Some point to the Piri Reis map (1513), which seems to depict parts of Antarctica without ice. Historians debate whether this is coincidence, older source maps, or misinterpretation.

So, what is the speculative “chatter” regarding civilizations living beyond the ice walls? This is where it gets fascinating — these ideas aren’t proven, but they circulate widely:

Atlantis / Lost advanced culture
Some believe Antarctica was home to a technologically advanced society that was buried after a pole shift or cataclysm. Writers like Charles Hapgood argued that shifting crustal plates displaced whole continents, putting Antarctica at the South Pole and freezing it.

Satellite photos show mountain peaks that look pyramid-shaped. Mainstream geology says they’re just nunataks (mountain tops poking through ice), but some suggest they’re man-made structures from a forgotten civilization.

Nazi Expeditions (1938–39)
Nazi Germany sent an expedition to “New Swabia” in Antarctica. Conspiracy lore claims they found ancient ruins or built secret bases there, possibly tied to advanced technology.

Admiral Byrd’s Diary (Operation Highjump, 1946–47)
Some versions of Byrd’s alleged “secret diary” claim he flew into a massive hole leading to an inner Earth with an advanced race. Historians say this diary is a hoax, but it fuels Hollow Earth theories.

The Antarctic Treaty restricts free travel—only approved scientific missions can go deep inland. This makes it fertile ground for speculation (“What are they hiding?”).

Satellite images sometimes show blurred or restricted areas, which people take as signs of concealed structures.

Massive ice sheets—some more than 2 miles thick—could hide entire landscapes we haven’t explored yet. Subglacial lakes and mountain ranges (like Lake Vostok and the Gamburtsev Mountains) are completely hidden.

Science says Antarctica has never hosted human civilizations because of the long ice cover. But mystery theories—from pyramids, to Nazis, to lost Atlantean knowledge—continue because the continent is so remote and locked down.

Now, let’s consider the scriptures, and see if there is anything written about Antarctica and the end times.

Jesus said:

“For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.” (Mark 4:22, KJV)

If there are indeed ancient ruins, technologies, or strongholds under the Antarctic ice, prophecy suggests these secrets will eventually be brought into the open as part of the great end-times deception. That’s interesting! End-times deception? Let’s learn more…

Job describes mysterious realms:

“He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.” (Job 12:22, KJV)

Some prophetic teachers connect Antarctica to the idea of hidden demonic strongholds—places where fallen angels (Genesis 6, Jude 6) may have left remnants of their works. If strange structures exist there, they may not be “civilizations” in the human sense, but pre-Flood activity now buried.

This suggests an entirely different though process of people living in Antarctica. Not humans, but something from the team of the adversary. Fallen Angles? That sounds a bit far-fetched, but let’s continue learning about this possibility.

Again, back to the scriptures. What do they say about demons being released in the last days?

1. Spirits of devils working miracles

“For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.”
— Revelation 16:14

This shows that demons will be unleashed to deceive rulers and nations into following the Antichrist and fighting against Christ at Armageddon.

2. Seducing spirits and doctrines of devils

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.”
— 1 Timothy 4:1

In the last days, many will leave true faith because of demonic deception, false religions, and corrupt teachings.

3. Demons tormenting mankind

“And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power… And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.”
— Revelation 9:3, 11

Demonic forces will be released during the Tribulation to torment those who do not have God’s seal.

4. Unclean spirits like frogs

“And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.”
— Revelation 16:13

These demonic spirits will be part of the deception leading to the one-world system under Antichrist.

This is interesting, yet it does not give us any indication that these evil spirits will be coming from Antarctica. Are their any scriptures that specifically state when these demons might come from… Actually, YES, there is:

Revelation 9:13-15 (KJV)

“And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.”

Let’s break this scripture down for further understanding.

• The sixth trumpet judgment – When the angel sounds, it triggers the release of these beings.
• “Four angels bound” – These are not holy angels (God’s angels are never bound). They are fallen angels/demons that have been restrained until this appointed time.
• Location: Euphrates River – This river has always been significant biblically. It was the boundary of Israel’s promised land, the location of Babylon, and associated with ancient idolatry and rebellion against God.
• Purpose: Mass destruction – When released, they lead an army of 200 million demonic horsemen (Revelation 9:16) who kill a third of mankind.

Why the Euphrates?

• It’s been a line between East and West, often associated with the rise of world powers (Babylon, Assyria, Persia).
• It symbolizes the cradle of rebellion (Tower of Babel was in this region).
• The final surge of demonic power during the Tribulation seems to arise from this area.

Prophetic Significance:

Some see this as literal—demonic entities bound under the river, waiting for release. Others view it symbolically, representing nations or armies rising from that region. But the text suggests it is spiritual beings, imprisoned until God allows their release.

The timing places this in the Great Tribulation (mid-to-late), a period of judgment and demonic activity unlike anything before.

So, to me, there is not enough evidence to state that there are actually demons living in Antarctica. But we have learned something very important today. We’ve just learned from scripture that demons, or fallen angles will be a part of the end times.

We have to prepare our thinking to expect something that we have not yet experienced in our lifetime. Something supernatural. An entity that is not human, but could very well be in the likeness of mankind. A demon…A Fallen Angel, are you starting to understand the significance of what is to come?

This is not a tale of someone late at night witnessing an alien spaceship and being abducted for a scientific experiment. Those people sharing such a story in the past have been pushed aside, and their claim seems to be outlandish.

But now, the scriptures tell us that these fallen angles are coming, and that we should prepare to for their arrival. We must also KNOW that they are being sent to deceive us. This is their purpose.

I must tell you that if I were to experience a fallen angle that was not in human form, I would initially be startled. If I was not prepared for their coming, I might assume that this entity was being sent by God, as it would be a spiritual experience in nature.

Knowing that this is coming, I am more prepared to see them for what they truly are. Ambassadors of that advisory. I will not be deceived, even if they display miracles, or super human characteristics. I will command them in the name of Jesus Christ to depart from me. (Please do not forget that you carry this arrow of defense in your quiver.)

I can not express this enough. Things are going to change very soon, and we need to prepared for the deception that is to come. We are NOT conspiracy theorists. We are admonishing the teachings of Christ as noted in the scriptures.

As we continue to study the end times, we are made aware of the supernatural events that are to come. I can only imagine, those who do not take the time to learn what’s coming, how easily they will be deceived. Many people STILL take things for “Face Value,” they trust what they see, and are told. A.I. should at least be preparing people to understand how easy it is for us to be deceived.

Videos are “created” and are not real. People are recorded saying things that they never said. If you are a gullible person, my friend, you are in big trouble unless you start ONLY trusting God through your own prayer and His personal revelation that He will give to you.

If you think that trusting religious leaders, regardless of what they say, is a display of blind faith and that you are doing the right thing, You are WRONG! I encourage you to ALWAYS take what leaders say to God for conformation. Once your revelation has been given to you by God, you MUST follow God, and not the direction of any man.

If you do, and insist on being the “dedicated follower of a leader” thinking that this makes you special with God, let me be so bold as to state what it really is… YOU ARE BEING GULLIABLE, and are in serious risk of your eternal salvation.

I have spent a great deal of time writing about this very thing…The Elect Being deceived. I’m doing so because I see it already happening in regards to how some churches have “programmed” their members to blindly follow what they say.

Even if what they say is clearly proven to be wrong, they continue to follow them. They are told that they shouldn’t be studying literature outside the church’s guidelines, or that they shouldn’t listen to anyone but them for spiritual guidance. This is how they address people who are questioning their deception.

I don’t know what more I can say to help these people see that they are in real spiritual danger.

In my prayers for these people, I am reminded of what Christ felt when He sat outside the walls of Jerusalem and expressed His sorrow:

Matthew 23:37 (KJV)
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!”

This shows Christ’s deep grief for Israel’s rejection of Him and the prophets sent before Him.

And another..

Luke 13:34 (KJV)
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!”

Just as Jesus Christ could not force people to accept His word, the same applies to all of us. Although I care and love others, their spiritual journey is up to them. It is up to the individual to learn, prepare, and decide what they plan to do in the end times. And sadly, with some of their decisions, they will face the grim consequences of their choices. =(

So today, I invite you to prepare for deception. This is my call. Know that there will be “Fallen Angels” along with an antichrist and false prophet who will team up in hopes to deceive you. And, their goal? To have you take the sign of the antichrist in exchange for your very soul. Now you know…Get Prepared!
