Q & A Time Regarding the RAPTURE – Here are the ANSWERS to Your Questions, Taken from the KJV of the Bible.
Posted August 28, 2025 | End Times Watch | River Wilde
The article that I have written yesterday, regarding the rapture occurring on Sept 23-24, 2025, has create quite a stir with people. So many questions:
Who will be taken in the Rapture?
Is it specifically tied to belonging to a certain church?
What do I need to Do to make sure that I will be included?
If a person doesn’t believe in the Rapture, are they taken anyway?
What if I am left behind?
Does a person need to be looking up in order to be taken?
Can a person just hold on to someone being Raptured so that they are included?
What about children? Will they be raptured?
How will our bodies be able to fly into the air and live there?
Will we lose our clothes along the way?
Well, let’s see what the scriptures have to say about these questions, so that we can increase our own knowledge in this spiritual event, which will shortly happen upon this earth.
According to the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, those who will be taken in the Rapture are believers in Jesus Christ—those who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior and are in a state of faith and righteousness through Him. Here are the key passages that describe this:
1. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
- Who is taken?
- The dead in Christ (believers who have died).
- The living believers at the time of Christ’s coming.
2. John 14:2-3
“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
- Jesus promises that He will come back to take His followers to be with Him.
3. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
- Believers—both living and dead—will be transformed to immortal bodies at the Rapture.
Summary
- Only those in Christ, who have faith and salvation through Him, are taken.
- Unbelievers, those who have rejected Christ, are left behind to face the Tribulation (Matthew 24:40-41).
So being taken has NOTHING to do with a person’s attendance to a certain church. It has nothing to do with their ethnicity, or church calling. Any of our works such as tithing, church service has nothing to do with being qualified to be taken during the rapture. It is based solely upon a person’s belief in Jesus Christ as their Savior, and actively including Him in their life.
Can you just hold onto someone else going up, to be included in the rapture?
Matthew 24:40 (KJV):
“Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”
This verse is part of Jesus’ teaching about the end times and the coming of the Son of man. It emphasizes sudden separation—those who are ready and faithful being “taken” (often interpreted as raptured) and those who are unprepared being “left” behind.
How can I make sure that I am included in the Rapture?
In the context of the Bible and Christian theology, qualifying for the Rapture is tied to faith in Jesus Christ. Here’s a careful breakdown based on Scripture, particularly the King James Version (KJV).
1. Faith in Jesus Christ
- The most central requirement is believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and accepting Him as Lord and Savior.
- John 3:16 KJV: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
- Salvation by grace through faith is key. It’s not works, wealth, religious membership, or status that qualifies a person.
2. Being Spiritually Prepared
- The Rapture is described as a sudden event, so readiness is crucial.
- 1 Thessalonians 5:2-4 KJV: “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them… But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”
- Living a life guided by the Spirit, not by worldly distractions, is emphasized.
3. Holiness and Repentance
- While works cannot save, Scripture encourages repentance from sin and a pursuit of righteousness.
- 1 John 3:3 KJV: “And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”
- Purity here reflects spiritual readiness, aligning one’s life with God’s will.
4. Obedience to God’s Commands
- Obedience is a sign of love and faithfulness, not a ticket to salvation.
- 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV: The Rapture passage itself says the faithful in Christ will be caught up “in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.” This applies to believers.
5. Being “In Christ” at the Time
- The Bible doesn’t specify any ritual or calendar requirement.
- The focus is on relationship with Christ rather than external observance.
- Revelation 3:10 KJV: Some interpret this as a promise to faithful believers to be kept from the “hour of temptation,” potentially linking to Rapture timing.
A person qualifies for the Rapture if they:
- Believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
- Are spiritually alert and ready.
- Pursue holiness and repentance.
- Show a heart of obedience to God’s guidance.
- Are in Christ at the time of His coming.
Does a person have to believe in the rapture to be taken?
No, a person does not have to believe in the rapture to be taken. The rapture is about being in right relationship with Jesus Christ, not knowledge of an end-times event. Belief in the rapture itself is not what saves anyone.
What if I am left behind?
If you are “left behind” during the Rapture, according to a literal reading of the King James Version (KJV) and common interpretations of end-times prophecy, the Bible paints a serious picture. Here’s a careful breakdown:
1. Who is “taken” and who is “left”
- 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (KJV):
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout… and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds…”
-
- Those in Christ—believers—are caught up.
- Those not in Christ remain on earth.
- Matthew 24:40-41 (KJV):
“Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”
-
- Being “left” in this context is generally seen as not being among the righteous.
2. What happens to those left behind
- The Tribulation period begins after the Rapture (Revelation 6 onward).
- Those left will face:
- Global upheaval (Revelation 6:12–17)
- Persecution by the Antichrist (Revelation 13)
- Natural disasters and wars (Matthew 24:7–8)
- Many theologians believe the Tribulation lasts 7 years (Daniel 9:27, Revelation 11–13).
3. Hope for those left behind
- Being left behind doesn’t necessarily mean eternal damnation immediately.
- There is a chance for salvation during the Tribulation:
- Revelation 7:9–14 speaks of a great multitude that come to faith during this period.
- People can repent and receive Christ even amid severe trials.
4. Practical and spiritual implications
- Spiritual urgency: The Bible emphasizes readiness (Matthew 24:44).
- Faith and obedience matter: The Rapture separates believers from unbelievers, showing that salvation is through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9).
- Preparation: Those left must endure persecution, make moral choices, and trust in God for deliverance.
What about children. Will they be Raptured?
Yes — according to a biblical understanding, children can be raptured, though the details depend on age and accountability. Let’s break this down carefully using the King James Version (KJV).
- Children and accountability:
- The Bible teaches that salvation is by faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9 KJV).
- Infants and very young children are not held accountable for sin in the same way adults are (Matthew 19:14 KJV):
“But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
-
- This suggests that children who die or are saved through Christ are part of the kingdom of heaven and thus eligible for the rapture.
- Implication: Children who have accepted Christ, or are considered innocent and under God’s mercy, will be included in the rapture. The Bible doesn’t give an exact age or list exceptions — it emphasizes God’s justice and mercy. God’s grace covers them.
How will our bodies be able to endure the flight into the clouds, and our CLOTHES?
This is a fascinating question, and it has to be approached carefully with Scripture, because the Bible does not give a full mechanical explanation, but it does give some clues. Here’s a breakdown based on the King James Version (KJV):
- Transformation of the body:
The key passage is 1 Corinthians 15:51-52:
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”
This tells us that our bodies will be transformed instantly—from mortal, corruptible flesh to an incorruptible, glorified body. That glorified body will no longer be subject to the normal limitations of gravity, injury, or decay, nor the need for mortal clothing.
- No need to “stand” in the usual sense:
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 says:
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air…”
Because our bodies are transformed, we won’t be flying “under normal physics.” It will be a supernatural event, where we are lifted or “caught up” without strain or harm. Our glorified bodies will be able to exist in the air as naturally as we now exist on the ground.
- Spiritual bodies fit for eternal life:
1 Corinthians 15:42-44 contrasts the natural body with the spiritual body:
“…it is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory:
It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.”
The “spiritual body” is not just ethereal; it’s a perfected, incorruptible form, fully capable of surviving the rapture’s instantaneous transportation and the eternal presence of Christ.
We won’t have to worry about the mechanics like standing or flying. The Bible clearly teaches that our bodies will be miraculously transformed at the moment of the rapture, making us fully compatible with instantaneous transport to meet the Lord.
This transformation will obviously eliminate our mortal clothing into something different, yet concealing our nakedness’. Let’s return to the scriptures for more insight:
Revelation 3:5
“He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”
Revelation 7:9
“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands.”
Revelation 19:8 – The Bride of Christ:
“And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”
There are so many answers in the New Testament, yet so many people just do not have the desire to learn. God has given us ALL of the answers that we should be aware of in the Gospel writings of Jesus Christ as written in the New Testament. I must ask, are you too hesitant to study these writings for yourselves?
This is what you should be doing right now to prepare for the return of Jesus Christ. Stop waiting for a church leader to tell you what you are to believe. Many of these leaders are silent, which gives credibility that they will be involved in the great deception which is to come during the tribulation period.
Many of us are far past being bound by the chains of religious deception. I admonish all of you to take responsibility for your own learning and understanding of the end times. It is all contained in the KJV of the Bible. Break free of being stagnant in your knowledge, due to relying upon others to show you the writings of the New Testament.
You can go about your day, like the people of Noah, not giving any thought as to the spiritual events that are going to occur. But you also saw what happened to them.
When Jesus spoke of the days of Noah, He was pointing to the spiritual blindness and indifference of people right before judgment fell.
Matthew 24:37–39 (KJV):
“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Spiritually, here’s what will happen to those who live like that:
- They will be spiritually blind.
Just like Noah’s generation, they’ll be busy with daily life — eating, drinking, building, marrying — with no thought of God’s warnings. They will not discern the times or recognize the urgency of repentance. - They will reject God’s invitation.
Noah preached righteousness (2 Peter 2:5), but the people mocked him and ignored God’s call. In the same way, many will harden their hearts to the gospel message today. - They will be suddenly overtaken.
When the flood came, it was too late to enter the ark. In the same way, when judgment begins (whether through the rapture, the Tribulation, or Christ’s second coming), they will not have time to prepare. Their chance will be gone. - They will face separation from God.
Spiritually, this means being left outside of God’s salvation. Just as only those in the ark were saved, only those in Christ will be safe from judgment (John 3:18, 36).
In short:
Those who live as if nothing is coming, like in Noah’s day, are spiritually asleep. They’ll be caught off guard, left outside God’s protection, and face sudden judgment.
1 Thessalonians 5:6 (KJV):
“Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.”
Your spiritual future is up to you, not a church. What effort do you feel that you should be putting into it yourself? Are you just going to go on with your day as normal, or do you finally think that it’s time for you to get into the game of learning and understanding taught in the New Testament. Your salvation is up to you, and Jesus Christ… No middle man or church.
I am excited and anxious for the return of Jesus Christ. He is coming for “His Bride” to begin a glorious life with Him, living in “Heaven” for eternity. How can a person not want to spend 24/7 studying about what is to soon take place? I certainly cannot answer that question. “We Fly Soon!!!”
