The Blood Moon on Sept 7, 2025 – Does this Hold any Significance to the End Times Prophecies in the KJV of the Bible

Many of us have been fascinated with observing the blood moons that have occurred over the past several years. We are also very aware of scriptures that speak of the moon, turning to blood in the end times.

Several prophecies speak of the moon being darkened or turned to blood as a sign of the last days:

Joel 2:31 (KJV):
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.”

Acts 2:20 (KJV): (Peter quoting Joel on the Day of Pentecost)
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come.”

Revelation 6:12 (KJV):
“And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.”

These passages all tie the moon turning to blood to end-time judgments, closely connected to the Day of the Lord and the opening of the sixth seal in Revelation.

These events have been “frequent,” and almost routine lately. So, when they occur are they simply part of the lunar schedule, or are they all specific in the warnings or announcements of biblical events?

Let’s take a moment to learn more about the blood moons:

Astronomical Blood Moons happen regularly (a few per decade). By themselves, they are natural events explained by science.

Prophetic Blood Moon signs in Scripture seem to be supernatural in scale and timing, likely connected to a global event (earthquake, cosmic disturbances, great tribulation signs).

We are coming up on another blood moon, happening on Sept 7, 2025. Is this simply an Astronomical Blood Moon, or is it a Prophetic Blood Moon announcing an event or warning that God would like for us to take note of?

Here are some details surrounding the blood moon happening on September 7, 2025

A world-visible Blood Moon, occurring near Feast of Trumpets (Sept. 22–23, 2025).

The United Nations General Assembly in Sept. 2025, where discussions about Israel and peace plans are expected.

Could serve as a Pre Tribulation warning sign?

Prophetically: Could parallel Joel 2:31 – “before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.”

Many watchmen believe the rapture or tribulation signs will align with the fall feast of the trumpets on Sept 23-24, 2025.

The KJV prophecies don’t say every lunar eclipse is a prophetic fulfillment—but when Blood Moons fall near Feast days, peace talks, or covenant signs, many see them as God’s highlighters in the sky.

When we adapt this attitude of watching the stars and moon for abnormalities, it gives us important insight to become more aware of what’s happing on the world stage. Isn’t that reason enough to see things like this blood moon happening on Sept 7, 2025 as a spiritual prompting from God, almost as if He were to say… “Heads Up.”

I love using this mindset as things in nature appear to be “Special” or “Unique.” For us to be more observant and tuned in to what will come of the UN Meeting this month. Additionally, to know that Sept 23-24, 2025 is a High Watch date for the rapture. We hear you God! We will be aware of what happens this month relating to end-times prophecies as noted in the Bible.

I am also very mindful of the majority of people living upon the earth right now who could care less about any of this that is going on.

Matthew 24:37–39 (KJV), where Jesus compares the last days to the days of Noah:

“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Meaning in context:

People in Noah’s day lived as if judgment would never come. They carried on with ordinary life—eating, drinking, marrying—ignoring God’s warnings.

They were caught unprepared when the flood suddenly came.

Jesus says the same will happen at His return: the world will be going about its daily routines, blind to the warnings, until judgment arrives unexpectedly.

I am so grateful for a God that loves us, and chooses to communicate with us in so many different ways. What a kind, loving Father He is. Protective, and wanting us to be aware of what is going on in these end times.

I once again would ask, that our prayers involve those who are not paying attention to the warnings that God is giving to the world. Pray that they will have a desire to know Jesus Christ as taught in the New Testament. Time is running out, and their eternal salvation might very well be at risk.

I also pray for all of you reading this writing, that we may all have the strength to endure to the end. That we will have our eyes wide open, and will be able to see through the deceptions of the Antichrist. We need each other, and there is no better way to help one another that with prayer and faith.

I can not WAIT to meet all of you. This thought is so exciting to me. For all of us to be together telling stories of our mortal journey, while under the leadership and protection of our Savior Jesus Christ is the ultimate. We will all spend time exploring the world that God has created for us. We will find adventure, just as we have found on this earth. So, as we plan to “Cloud Jump,” who wants to go first?!?

Remember, you are not facing these end times alone. “Yolk up” to the Savior, and let HIM guide you. Let Him drive, and have faith in Him.
