Summary Of What’s In This Weekly Wrap-Up

This week’s newsletter features the Open Forum, plus updates on Koil Energy Solutions, Inc. (OTCQB:KLNG)’s continued contract momentum, Firan Technology Group Corporat (OTC:FTGFF)’s solid bookings despite some growth moderation, California Nanotechnologies Cor (OOTC:CANOF)’s move away from a single green steel customer toward a more diversified commercial focus, and Broadwind, Inc. (NASDAQ:BWEN) securing $11 million in wind tower orders for early 2026.

I wanted to start this weekly post with a quick mention of the status of launching Geoinvesting buy on pullback model portfolio (BOP) #14. As you know, we closed BOP #13 on August 18, 2025, with a closing return of 53.2% over 5 months and across 9 stocks. This came on the heels of BOP #12, which was open between August 8, 2024, and February 20, 2025, with a closing return of 30.5% across 8 stocks. Again, it’s worth noting that 11 of our 13 BOPs have beaten the market during their tenure. Now, with the market in a little bit of a turmoil, we’re taking a serious look at starting BOP #14. Later in this post, I’ll post a clip from this past Thursday’s Live Open Forum event that went over some of the stocks that we’re looking at for a potential BOP #14.

As a special feature, I’m also going to disclose my top five favorite stocks across our model portfolio platform, my plans with TSSI before they report their third-quarter earnings, and my speculative Multi Bagger idea.

Starting Five Microcap Lineup: 

To help you better navigate our growing coverage universe of over 1,500 microcap stocks, I decided to pause for a moment and highlight my five highest conviction ideas based on the most current information we have.

As you know, our Focus Model Portfolio aims to identify and add at least one high-conviction stock every three months from our broader universe. Since launching the concept in 2023, we added 9 stocks in 2024 and 5 more so far in 2025, and the results have been impressive. As of October 10, 2025, the portfolio has a current return of 62.6% and a peak return of 119.3%. 4 stocks have achieved multibagger status, and 8 out of the 12 total companies have returned over 50%.

Still, with so many ideas in play, it can sometimes be tough to determine which names we remain most confident in. Some stocks have hit short-term headwinds since we added them, while others are simply waiting for their next catalysts to play out.

So, I find it helpful to occasionally zoom out and do this type of exercise, reviewing our entire universe and identifying a handful of names where conviction is especially high right now. When I go through this process, I try to isolate one or two big reasons why I like each company, given the current valuation.
