Bath City Farm is in desperate need of community support to survive. On Wednesday, July 24, the farm will kick off an ambitious online crowdfunding campaign, aiming to raise £40,000.
With operational costs skyrocketing by £80,000 this year alone, the farm is struggling to meet the surging demand for its essential services.
This cherished 37-acre sanctuary, which offers free access to over 50,000 visitors annually, faces an uncertain future. Without these funds, the farm may be unable to continue providing its vital therapeutic programs, animal care, and family-friendly amenities that so many in the community rely on.
The farm is a free resource for many families on a low income to spend a day out with children, experience and meet farm animals and access vital green space. Visitors can also access nature trails including woodland, ponds, a safe playground for children and allotments, all of which cost money to maintain, for example upkeeping safe pathways and gardening the grounds and flower beds.
