RegeneraciónMx, August 2, 2024. Luis Cresencio Sandoval, head of the National Defense Secretariat (Sedena), confirmed the dismantling of two criminal cells linked to Jesus Esteban Machado Meza, alias “El Güero Pulseras”.

El Junior” died after an attack on June 7, 2021, which allowed “El Güero Pulseras” to become a plaza boss for “El Mayo” Zambada.

According to newspaper reports, “El Mayo” Zambada paid $10 million for the Chiapas plaza; he bought the complicity of high-level officials, including Gabriela Zepeda Soto, head of the local Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection.
