OK, this time I really mean it when I say THIS WILL BE A BRIEF PIECE?
Those who read me here on B4IN in other Categories will know, sometimes I plan on something “brief” and then it keeps expanding and growing over the next few days with updates! LOL

BUT ULTIMATELY, it is about: 
What are your favorite movies? Which coming soon you’re looking forward to? etc….

My Sister had never seen the movie SIGNS (M.Night, he has a new one coming August) still, so we had time to kill today so I sat down to watch it with her (I have it on DVD) over at her House. She is NOT into the “Aliens” kind of movies, but she was interested when I said it really is about “FAITH” and “HOPE!” Lots of BRILLIANT SCENES that deal with that as the film’s message – at the end, she didn’t like it all that much as she just kept HANGING on the whole “there are Aliens involved” that helps setup and bring the FAITH message together beginning to end.

For those that may QUESTION, how can a movie with Aliens be about Christianity?!?! Doesn’t someone who believes in extra-terrestrials (inter-stellar or inter-dimensional beings) by default ATHEIST??? NO! and I have discussed it on my Christian podcast a few times! The Bible does NOT say “God created Life on Earth, and on Earth only created He Life!” DOES NOT SAY THAT. Depending on your Bible, may be SILENT on such, which means exclusion doesn’t mean preclusion. Other Bibles do indeed reference Nepheline and then their is Ezekiel and Enoch, and what about Goliath (and Giants)?!?!? 

OK, let us get TECHNICAL for a minute: Did not Angels exist before creation of Earth? Well then, by default, using our English language, they are EXTRA- or NON- Terrestrial. Now, yes, not implying Angels (Spiritual beings) are anything same as potential “Little Green Men from Mars” Aliens! PEOPLE should NOT get hung up on that/this, JUST MAKING A BIT OF A POINT. AND in my Shows (point of the program, all episodes) IS COMING TOGETHER on things we should be able to in Christ – AND NOT ARGUE THE OTHER THINGS and understand (need put our HUBRIS aside as) GOD did not owe us ALL KNOWLEDGE then, now, ever, but hopefully all will be answered/revealed in Heaven.

Believe in Life elsewhere, don’t, just do not try claim Bible PRECLUDES IT! And understand it is NOT worth arguing about!!! If, when, as the saying goes, they land a bunch of Saucers and “Little Green Men” pile out with TV Cameras rolling broadcasting LIVE during Prime-Time – then we shall know, until then SPECULATION*.

LOVE when I get a break from the usual “Welcome to the ‘Book Show’ tell us about your Book” type interviews. I was on with Rob Fredette of HODGEPOD podcast and we discussed “Movies of the 1980′s” (2-parter)…. 

TALKIN   TOP GUN  ,  E. T.  AND  DIE HARD  IN A TWO EPISODE SERIES WI TH JOSEPH M LENARD

Joseph M Lenard author and podcaster joins HODGEPOD to talk about three movies E. T. 1982, TOP GUN 1986 and DIE HARD 1988. In the first episode Rob and Joseph discuss E. T. and TOP GUN. The second episode will be on DIE HARD will drop Wednesday August 23rd. These 3 films main character started out as themselves against the world. But after perseverance the tide turned for these characters. Henry Thomas as Elliot, Tom Cruise as Maverick and Bruce Willis as John McClane all share similar characteristics from the beginning of the movie to the climatic ending of each film. The world or authority against them. Other topics discussed – Top Gun as a patriotic film -E. T. not your typical scary space film -Die Hard as a Christmas movie.
