FEMA Absent once again, with Oklahoma Tragedies!

Could it be because Oklahoma is predominantly white?

  It seems that the Obama gets a free pass when it comes to the tragedies, which our Oklahoma neighbors have received with the recent tornadoes. Yesterday sadly enough Oklahoma was hit once again, and as usual with THIS administration they dragged their feet. So it took the American resiliency to get out there and help their neighbors.

   There were many volunteers from all over (less the FEMA Operations), bringing blankets water and other items to the residents where the tornado hit the hardest. This is what Americans do in time of need; we come together, and lend a helping hand. This only adds to our resilient nature, that our nation is attributed with!

    While many resident s waited a little too long to leave the city, it caused a backup on the interstate roads. This was also due to the fact that FEMA did not do their job, as the title says above, “Could this be because Oklahoma is predominantly white”?

    It does seem a little odd, when President Bush was in office during Katrina, he was crucified and no matter what he did for Louisiana in their time of need and support, it just was not enough. I also see that as a political and racial subject as well, since everyone on the left was screaming racism, because they were predominantly black and the news media was throwing logs on the fire, with their very incompetent and politically left wing broadcasting! One must also be careful reporting this very true fact; otherwise we will be labeled racists as well. But we are not we are all AMERICANS!

 BOTTOM LINE

President Obama, has spoken and pledged all possible support, but where is it? The Red Cross, The Salvation Army and teams sent from neighboring states are on the scene working, but FEMA is conspicuous by its absence.

Only talk Mr. President? If Oklahoma was a swing state would it be different?
 

   The Plan should be that these neighboring states should be subsidized for such disasters, this has been recommended by the states and as of yet, still has not been approved by this administration and FEMA.

   There were changes to the Federal requirements for this plan that occurred while our contractors were writing the documents, and it now has to be rewritten once again.We have found that the FEMA requirements and their interpretations seem to be a constantly moving target, more so with new wrinkles and requirements.

 States are still working out various wording changes with the State reviewers and hope to submit the final document in sometime soon! However we find it is only away for them to make states jump through the hoops, and never getting a response of affirmative approval!!
