‘Sending People to Other Parts of the World and Ruling the World Was All Part of the Plan’

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Some intrepid Sky News journalists recently ventured into the badlands of Puntland, which is officially part of Somalia but largely goes its own way, in order to interview a couple of captured Islamic State jihadis. Both ingenuously told them a great deal about his world view and goals, none of which, of course, the journalists understood in the slightest degree, since they’re wholly committed to the baseless but nonetheless unshakeable dogma that Islam is a religion of peace that’s been hijacked by a tiny minority of extremists. As far as they were concerned, the pair of ISIS jihadis they interviewed are just two of the hijackers, interesting the way angry zoo animals might be, but that’s it. In reality, both offer a revealing glimpse into the mindset of all too many Muslims.

Sky reported Thursday that Muthar Hamid Qaayid was brought to their crew “blindfolded and under armed guard,” but apparently he was clued in on what to expect: “when the blindfold is removed, he doesn’t look surprised to see a camera crew and several counterterrorism officers, one of whom interrogated him when he was first caught.”

Qaayid, we’re told was “an ISIS commander, as well as a sniper and a member of a two-man bomb squad,” and for that has been sentenced to death by firing squad. He is a Yemeni, but was caught in Puntland, where “ISIS is running its global headquarters” and “financing its activities worldwide.” Where they’re getting the money to finance these global activities, Sky News unfortunately did not say. The British news outlet also seems remarkably uncurious about why a gang of terrorists in Somalia would be so grandiose as to be operating a “global headquarters.” Do they really think they’ll be able to strike in the West? Why, sure they do.

And in the meantime, they’re drawing Muslim recruits from the West. The Sky report notes that “officials show us multiple foreign passports recovered from ISIS cave hideouts in Puntland and from those they’ve captured or killed. There are passports for whole families from South Africa, including children, as well as ones from Germany, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, and Bahrain. There are also handfuls of IDs which show European faces.”

In fact, “Since a Puntland army offensive was launched last December, just five of the 600 ISIS fighters killed have been Somalis, says Mohamed Abdirahman Dhabancad, Puntland’s political affairs representative.” Apparently the Sky crew asked no questions whatsoever about what attracted all these people to Puntland, which isn’t exactly the French Riviera. That might have gotten them too close to saying something critical about Islam, which the establishment media never, ever dares to do.

While planning to strike worldwide, the group is active right around its headquarters in Puntland. Qaayid, however, “insists he wasn’t an active participant in the two-man bomb squad.” He says: “I didn’t press the button. I just looked. The other man made the bomb and set it off. I didn’t come here to kill Muslims.” Of course he didn’t. The Qur’an says: “It is not for a believer to kill a believer except by mistake.” (4:92) So why is ISIS killing fellow believers in Puntland? Because it doesn’t consider them to be fellow believers. Islamic law calls for the killing of heretics and apostates, and that is what ISIS thinks it is doing when it kills Muslims who don’t accept its claim to be the new caliphate, the one world government to which all Muslims owe allegiance.

Qaayid is entirely indifferent to the possibility that the bombs he planted killed non-Muslims. Alex Crawford of Sky News asked him if he had “heard of people being killed by the bombs he’s accused of planting.” Qaayid replied: “Yes, but they don’t kill all people…. They don’t kill everyone. Only infidels.” And as far as the Qur’an goes, killing infidels is perfectly fine, as it says “Kill them wherever you find them” three times (2:191, 4:89, 4:91), as well as “Kill the idolaters wherever you find them.” (9:5) As far as the Qur’an is concerned, pretty much everyone besides the Muslims is an idolater.

The other jihadi, Usman Bukukar Bin Fuad, says that he met the ISIS top dog in Somalia, Abdul Qadir Mumin. “He used to visit all the ISIS camps and encourage them to fight. And he’d reassure us all about going to heaven.” Going to heaven? For all that murder? Sure. The Qur’an promises paradise to those who “kill and are killed” for Allah. (9:111)

Usman Bukukar Bin Fuad explains: “The main target or focus was to rule the world. Starting with this region as one of the gates to the world, then Ethiopia and the rest of the world. I heard so much talk about sending ISIS fighters to Bosaso, Ethiopia or Yemen. Sending people to other parts of the world and ruling the world was all part of the plan.”

Sending people to other parts of the world, eh? Like, maybe, if the putative president of the U.S. leaves the American southern border wide open for four years, any number of ISIS jihadis could enter the Great Satan, right? Plenty of infidels to kill there. But ISIS would never do that, now, would they?
