Jimmy Kimmel Gets Peabody Award for Telling Outrageous Lie About Charlie Kirk Assassination
Due to the vileness at the heart of the liberal establishment, well-known awards are no longer a cause for pride but rather a mark of shame. The formerly respected Nobel Peace Prize has been granted to multiple terrorists (Yasser Arafat, Nelson Mandela), a communist dictator (Mikhail Gorbachev), a conman (Al Gore), and even Jimmy Carter. Likewise, the Peabody Award has been awarded to one of the most contemptible people imaginable, for the most contemptible reason imaginable.
NewsBusters reports that Jimmy Kimmel has received the award for telling a bald-faced lie in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assassination:
To recap, Kimmel declared on September 15 that “we hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”
There was no joke. There was no satire. Kimmel made a good, old-fashioned declarative statement about Kirk’s alleged assassin who, even at the time, was known to be on the left.
That is, he lied, exploiting a murder by one of his fellow leftists to score political points while accusing others of doing so.
Peabody reveres him for this, portraying this cockroach as a martyr for free speech because he was momentarily suspended by Disney/ABC for obvious reasons.

Note that Kimmel was also pleased about Parler being taken offline for serving as a platform for conservatives.
The liberal definition of free speech is “We get to tell twisted lies, and you have to shut up.”
Other 2026 Peabody Awards rewarded propagandists for promoting sexual perversion, Islam, and the Great Replacement. A felony conviction would be less shameful than having won a Peabody Award.
