Austria: 14-Year-Old Girl Used as Sex Slave

A 15-year-old Iraqi boy is in custody charged with repeatedly raping a 14-year-old Vienna girl and making her his virtual “slave”.  The article below in the Austrian newspaper Heute, is translated by Fousesquawk.

The 14-year-old girl from Vienna comes from difficult circumstances and had to go through a terrible ordeal. Her ex-boyfriend, who was arrested a few weeks ago, is suspected of rape, coercion, and making dangerous threats.

The girl had met him on a trip to Salzburg organized by the Youth Welfare Office. “At first, he was nice,” the victim describes how they first became a couple, but then only met secretly because the girl’s mother was strongly against the relationship.

The teenagers met in stairwells and parks, and the dynamic quickly turned (bad). The 15-year-old “dictated what I should wear,” the girl says- finally, he became violent towards her. Not just (forcing) the school dropout to wear the head covering and convert to Islam, but also in sexual acts. 

After a long back and forth, the girl finally gave her statement: How she was raped for weeks-most recently on July 7 in a stairwell near Brigitta Square in Vienna. As we reported, investigators even found traces of blood on the wall.

The victim’s statement, along with submitted chats, show a shocking picture of the incarcerated boy. The Iraqi, who is known to authorities, allegedly effectively degraded her as a slave. “May Allah protect you,” he reacted to photos posted showing her veiled in a hijab. “As Allah is my witness, I will kill you,” he threatened her, apparently screaming, “You will do everything I tell you”.

“I only told her she looked good in a hijab,” the suspect denied any violence. However, when the girl wanted nothing more to do with him, he threatened to post naked pictures of her, and despite a restraining order, bombarded her with messages on TikTok.

Due to serious self-inflicted injuries and psychiatric distress, the victim had to be hospitalized several times from her crisis group home. However, the Youth Welfare Office did not do everything to protect the girl from the boy’s influence. Prior to his arrest on July 19, he even managed to get her to throw her cell phone out the window to destroy evidence against him.  “He completely controlled me,” the 14-year-old complains. Attorney Melanie Kolar (Rast-Musliu Law Firm) is representing the family of the victim and wants the case thoroughly investigated. As for the suspect, there is the presumption of innocence.
