Campaign Life Coalition (CLC) … observed that Bill C-41, also known as the “safeguards act,” introduced on Tuesday, would not require a practitioner to “inform the person what is about to happen or even speak with them before ending their life” once an advance request is made.
They call it the Medical Assistance in Dying Safeguards Act because it serves to remove safeguards that protect the sick from being executed as useless eaters by their socialist government.
“The killing procedure may proceed solely on the basis of the earlier request, and the practitioner’s assessment that the described symptoms and suffering are present, subject only to a check for what the bill calls ‘refusal or resistance,’” said CLC national president Jeff Gunnarson in comments sent to LifeSiteNews.
A blind man could see where this is heading — assuming Canada isn’t killing off blind people yet. Already Brigitte Stegemann was killed under MAiD against her will.
The Canadian Liberal government designed the bill to look good on paper by banning euthanasia for those with mental illness.
The mentally ill are one group Canada’s moonbat rulers do not want to exterminate. They may be a burden on the collectivist healthcare system, but they are also a natural constituency for the Liberal Party.
