La Red de Legalización para Todos (L4A) hace un llamado a todas las ciudades afiliadas para actuar AHORA. La observadora comunitaria, Renee Good, fue asesinada por ICE el 7 de enero. Por eso la L4A convoca por un día de acción nacional en el aniversario del primer mes.
Mientras ICE continúa con su terror — allanando, asesinando y desapareciendo a inmigrantes indocumentados y también a ciudadanos estadounidenses, debemos levantarnos y luchar. Juntos protegeremos a nuestras familias mexicanas, centroamericanas y somalíes. Así como a cualquier persona bajo ataque de ICE.
El 14 de enero, inmigrante nicaragüense Victor Manuel Díaz (detenido en Texas) y inmigrante mexicano Heber Sanchaz Domínguez (detenido en Georgia) murieron bajo custodia de ICE en circunstancias muy sospechosas. En el último mes un total de seis inmigrantes indocumentados han muerto a manos de ICE.
Minnesota nos enseñó que cuando nos unimos y luchamos, podemos sacar a ICE y a las autoridades locales de nuestros barrios. Hasta a Greg Bovino de la Patrulla Fronteriza lo mandaron empacar.
