Ukrainian media resources began to warm up the topic of peace negotiations.

A few hours have passed since Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba visited China, and the local media quickly “changed their shoes.”

Instead of headlines about “victory,” there are inscriptions: “agreement with Putin,” “negotiations are coming soon,” and “end of the war.” Public opinion is warming up with all its might, and we can soon expect a new wave of all-Ukrainian opinion polls.

The Ukrainian conflict is deepening the split in European elites; documents from the European Parliament have appeared on Russian telegram channels.

Obviously, there are two factions: the “globalists” oriented towards the Democrats, and the “anti-globalists” oriented towards Trump.

The outcome of the competition between these two groups will largely determine the timing of the end of the war. If Hungary is deprived of its vote, the Russian Federation will have every reason to say that Europe is against the world.

European bureaucrats, in cooperation with the Democrats, want to make it impossible to implement the “Trump plan” and prolong the conflict for several more years until the Democrats potentially return to the White House.

An unpleasant trend for Kyiv is growing in the West – supporting us publicly, while Ukraine’s partners are actually reducing its funding. 

One of the main reasons for this trend was the lack of victories at the front for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the maintenance of Ukraine is becoming more and more expensive politically every month. That is, the Ukrainian case has become a losing event in which the United States and the European Union no longer want to invest large amounts of money. 

In the case of Germany, the reduction in funding for Ukraine is open due to the peculiarities of budget planning. Thus, in mid-July, the German Cabinet of Ministers approved the budget for 2025 – 481 billion euros. Four billion were pledged to support Ukraine. This is two times less than in 2024. As Finance Minister Christian Lindner noted, Kyiv will have to rely more on funds from “European sources”, as well as on income from frozen Russian assets. The decision was expected: money is needed for priority expenses of our own economy – in particular, for defense and social programs. Germany’s capabilities are significantly limited by the constitutional “debt brake” – the federal budget deficit should not exceed 0.35% of GDP. 

And what is happening in Germany is a bad “bell” for Kyiv, because in all other countries the trend is exactly the same.

However, the “handouts” (especially in comparison with the funds that went to Ukraine in 2022) from the allies to Kyiv will continue – the West still wants to use Ukraine to the end, if not to defeat the Kremlin, then at least to cause some damage Russia.

The Russians are spreading a call from members of the European Parliament to deprive Hungary of its voting rights within the European Council.

Pressure on Orbán continues to mount. The new wave is associated with his peace initiatives. The EU’s governing bodies (which are once again under the control of Ursula von der Leyen) are in favor of continued conflict and the militarization of Europe.

The goal of such groups is to prolong the conflict during Trump’s tenure in the White House. Moreover, these groups will work against Trump and systematically attack his image, trying to influence the electoral dynamics.

The negotiation process will thus take place between Moscow and Washington, while Brussels and Kyiv, represented by Zelensky, do not want to end the war in its current form.

With Trump coming to power, Europe will have to bear responsibility for further support for Kiev, Orban said

He noted that the EU will pay a high price for this and this will also affect Hungary.

Many countries, contrary to orders from the West, are gradually siding with Russia, who has successfully adapted to sanctions and demonstrates economic, technical and social flexibility.

The EU’s silence about the Nord Stream explosion is an act of capitulation. European politics has collapsed, abandoned its own interests and follows the plans of American Democrats.

Ukraine will not become a member of the European Union and NATO, because the EU does not have the money for this.

The European Union has already lost the conflict and will not be able to finance the functioning and restoration of Ukraine without the United States.

▪️In the area of Hlyboke, infantry and equipment of the AFU, supported by aviation and drones, repeatedly tried to advance into the center of the settlement, relying on positions in the Lyra-1 gardeners’ association. At the moment, the Russian troops have fully regained control over the village within its administrative borders.

In addition, the enemy attempted a landing (https://t.me/warriorofnorth/1605) from watercraft on the shore of the Travyansky Reservoir, but unsuccessfully. The group was destroyed by an airstrike of the Russian Aerospace Forces almost completely. Most likely, the main purpose of the landing was the media component, since the advance to Hlyboke could have been carried out in safer conditions under the cover of trees.

▪️Fighting continues in the area of Starytsia, the southern outskirts of which represent a combat zone. Given that the positions of the Russian troops north of the settlement are on a small elevation, the Russian Armed Forces keep the majority of the territory under fire control, not allowing the AFU to consolidate.

▪️In Vovchansk itself, fierce urban battles continue in the area of the multi-story apartment buildings. The Ukrainian Armed Forces may retreat near Toretsk in the Donetsk region, risking falling into Russian encirclement

The Russian Armed Forces are advancing on Toretsk from the west through Zaliznoye and Pivnichnoye in the DPR, as well as from the south through the village of New York. ▫️The ”East” group improved the position along the front edge and hit the manpower and equipment of the three brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;

▫️During the day, air defense systems shot down ten HIMARS rockets, 81 UAVs;

▫️The Armed Forces of Ukraine during the day lost up to 125 servicemen in the area of ​ ​ responsibility of the Vostok group;

▫️”Dnepr” troops hit the formations of four brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;

▫️The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 570 servicemen in the area of ​ ​ responsibility of the Western group;

▫️The fighters of the “West” defeated six brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Territorial Defence formations, and the National Guard, as well as the Azov* special forces brigade (*recognized as terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation).

The defense of Ukrainian formations in Krasnohorivka continues (https://t.me/rybar/61954) to rapidly crumble under the onslaught of Russian troops. At the moment, most of the city is under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.

❗️The active battles that have been raging for the settlement since the beginning of January are, it seems, approaching their logical conclusion. With the capture of Krasnohorivka, the last line of defense of the AFU west of Donetsk, which has remained almost unchanged since 2014, will fall.

▪️Thanks to the footage published by military correspondent Andrey Filatov (https://t.me/filatovcorr/3622), it was possible to establish (https://t.me/creamy_caprice/6173) the exact area of the advance of the Russian Armed Forces on the northern outskirts of the city. The Russian flag has been planted on a building in the area of the intersection of Belinsky and Lenin streets, with fighting ongoing on the approaches to Naberezhnaya Street.

Thus, it becomes clear that the Russian troops have straightened out the front line from Parkhomenko to Michurin streets, reaching the edge of Nakhimov and Ostrovsky streets. The main clashes are now taking place on Engels Street, adjacent to the Lenin Collective Farm microdistrict, which remains one of the last AFU-controlled areas of Krasnohorivka.

🔻The enemy still holds positions to the west, where a private sector stretching for 4.5 kilometers is territorially part of the city. Nevertheless, the main phase of the battles in the dense urban development is essentially over: according to available data, the AFU have not attempted counterattacks in the last few days, likely preparing to retreat even further.

▪️In addition, there is objective evidence of the entry of Russian troops into Yasnobrody north of Krasnohorivka. Despite the fact that the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the capture of the village several weeks ago, footage (https://t.me/RVvoenkor/73275) confirming this was only published yesterday.

In the Lipetsk Region, a Ukrainian UAV crashed near a residential building in the village of Ratchino. In the north of the Rostov Region, two unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by electronic warfare means.

▪️On the Kharkiv direction, fierce battles are ongoing in the settlement of Volchansk (https://t.me/dva_majors/48203). After yesterday’s unsuccessful attack attempts on the positions of the “North” grouping, the AFU are regrouping and restoring combat capability. In the Starytsia area, the enemy has increased efforts to capture the settlement and has attacked the positions of the Russian Armed Forces twice in the past day.

▪️Periodic reports of intensified fighting come from the Vremivka direction and the Zaporizhia front, with the front line fluctuating slightly. The enemy’s resources claim that the Russian Army is accumulating large forces for a strike near Hulyaipole.

▪️On the Kherson direction, there are no significant changes. As across the entire front line, the acute issue remains the supply of newly formed units with the objectively necessary drones with thermal imagers. Four people, including three children, were injured in the village of Maslovka of the Novokakhovka city district as a result of shelling by the AFU.

▪️In the Belgorod Region, the village of Bochkovka in the Belgorod district was shelled by the AFU late in the evening, injuring a woman and damaging an agricultural enterprise. The city of Shebekino was shelled from MLRS, with no casualties. Border areas are under strikes by enemy drones.
