Many things Trump did can’t be considered official acts. An official act usually occurs when you are known to be in your official capacity. Jan 6, Trump was not in the white house, he was not giving a state of the union address to Congress, he was not meeting dignitaries, he was not signing laws, he was at a rally (unofficial activity), immunity followd official (office) activities. Paying a person from a fund that is legally separate for the purposes of receipts for what was spent on a campaign to be elected is not an official act. An officer of the government does not commit crimes unless he has a hold harmless agreement for official acts that may cause harm to someone. I doubt a rally to interrupt Congress (right or wrong there is a process) is official and paying money out of a fund for purposes the fund was not created for us not official. I’m not stating you have to dislike him, I’m stating that with discernment you know what he does or did and you know if a law existed before he did it not because he did it.
The law, if you have discernment, existed before he did it.
