  • Yeah, I said it

    These are your neighbors.
Some were raised in poverty and know nothing else
So e were raised in poverty and are raising children in poverty and know nothing else
Some were raised in poverty, rose out of poverty, raised children out of poverty and ended back in poverty in their later years.
Some have no family and the government helps them not be homeless..if you want all of those low income housing units to not exist, you will not have to imagine what your streets will look like when all those people can’t take a bath or use the restroom unless they get permission from some business.
When they are gone they are off the streets and you can’t see them.
As you drive and point it out, think about the “fact” someone knew that many people would need housing and found the land, paid the architects, paid for permits, paid for labor, built the place set it up for garbage and sewage disposal and had a staff get their income status, cross check it with banks, credit reports, financial companies, the government, and qualified them as having not enough money to pay rent and housed them.
Thank the Airbnb, real estate investors for being greedy, because they basically allowed someone else to get the rents, pay taxes, and get government subsidized for getting people off the streets.
No trash in the roads, no defecation in the public, and no health risks from contagious diseases due to unsanitary conditions of being homeless. Less theft and vandalism because they have a place…

  • Yeah, I said it

Less theft and vandalism because they have a place to be and can occupy their minds with something other than surviving.
Try living in your tent in your living room for a month and getting all resources from outside your apartment with less than $500 a month. Find a shower, find a place to wash your clothes, have no A/C or heat, only natural air. You’ll notice mold immediately and know homeless deal with that and other issues all the time
Park the car and take the bus everywhere you go
Figure out how to use the restroom without using the one in your home every time you have to use the restroom.
Then make a video and correct your attitude towards the social support side of the government for low income people.
    Get off your high horse.

  • Yeah, I said it

Use power bank for electricity. Cell phone or tablet for all entertainment. What doesn’t fit in your tent would be seen outside in the public and be an eyesore. Cook outside on a Coleman stove or figure out how to eat with out using your refrigerator. Get a portable cooler to keep some things from spoiling. Get your water from some source other than in your home or apartment.
Get you light for the night from a flashlight light or lantern that requires a portable source to recharge.
Recharge your power bank, cell phone, table, lantern, flashlight, at the library, not in your home.
Figure out how to dispose of your trash without being accused of “theft of services” for putting your trash in someone else’s trash can or dumpster and making them pay for the disposal.
Wake up and live like that and stop pointing at other people’s journey until you walk 500 miles in their shoes.
If anything can’t fit in your tent, you can’t have it because it’s going to be stolen
