While we learn more about this breach, the Biden-Harris administration must detail what is being done to hold the contractor that was holding this data, National Public Data, accountable for its failure to protect against this hack. The American people also deserve to know what is being done to recover this data, and how the administration is going to protect them and ensure that a security breach of this magnitude never happens again. It is absolutely critical that threats such as this hack are dealt with swiftly and not allowed to become yet another source of concern and anxiety for hardworking American families.”
