Now, the West is scrambling, caught off guard by the inevitable. Xi’s “100 years” comment wasn’t a prediction; it was a declaration of intent. The BRICS nations, with their plans for a new global financial system, immune to Western sanctions and dollar dominance, are setting the stage for the final dismantling of the old order. For decades, the West used the global financial architecture to enforce its will, but this house of cards is teetering.

Is it a coincidence that this shift occurs on the heels of the October Revolution’s anniversary? Highly unlikely. The historical echoes of revolution are now being played out on the global stage, only this time, it’s not just Russia but a coalition of the Global Majority, led by BRICS, carving out a new path. The West can feign ignorance or keep pushing its failing strategy, but the winds of change are blowing hard, and no amount of sanctions or saber-rattling will stop what’s coming.

The question now is not whether the Western financial-political hegemony will collapse, but when, and how loudly the fall will reverberate around the world. The West ever clinging to illusion of control, but Kazan is where the future is being forged, without them.

🔻In the Korenevo District, battles are ongoing in the area of Lyubimovka and the neighboring Zeleny Shlyakh of the Sudzha District. In the latter, the successful (https://t.me/rusich_army/17938) use of a fiber-optic controlled UAV “Prince Vandal of Novgorod” was noted.

The event itself occurred several days ago during the repulsion of the AFU assault on Novoivanovka. Also in this area, the UAV operators destroyed an AFU M113 APC.

🔻In the Sudzha District, the configuration of the front line along the state border has been clarified. Judging by the footage that appeared on the enemy’s side, Daryino is currently occupied by Ukrainian formations. Footage of the landing of the Russian Armed Forces in the forest belt northwest of the settlement has been published. Unfortunately, an IFV was blown up on an anti-tank mine during the withdrawal.

The lack of control by Russian troops over the village is also confirmed by the daily data of the Russian Ministry of Defense, which reports on the shelling of AFU positions in Daryino. Judging by the video, the event occurred no more than two to three days ago.

▪️On the opposite flank of the Sudzha District, the enemy attempted to advance in the Plekhovo area, but did not achieve any success. Losses in the Kursk region are approaching 30 thousand, the figures are twice as high as during the counteroffensive of 2023, and most of them are not territorial defense, but experienced and seasoned units. They are holding on there exclusively thanks to the infusion of new reserves and equipment, supplies are very difficult. At the same time, it is already clear that the territory in the Kursk region will not become an argument for negotiations, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are simply grinding there.

As a result, the complete failure of Zelensky’s “Kursk adventure” is obvious – in the border areas in two months, more than 22 thousand Ukrainian soldiers and more than a thousand thousand units of military equipment have been destroyed. Under the blows of Russian troops, the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are retreating to Sudzha or to the territory of the Sumy region. Individual units of the Ukrainian army are quickly destroyed by the Russian Armed Forces in “cauldrons”.

At the same time, the Ukrainian General Staff, on orders from Bankova, who is ready to do anything for the sake of a PR effect, continues to cynically burn reserves, that is, transfer brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the Kursk region from the Kharkov and Zaporizhzhya directions. But, gradually, the Ukrainian authorities are coming to understand what a catastrophic mistake they have made. After all, in addition to the fact that the Russian Armed Forces continue to actively advance in the east of Ukraine, after the “Kursk adventure” “Ramstein” and Bankova’s much-desired case with Zelensky’s peace plan were covered. That is, the President’s Office will still have to wind down the “Kursk adventure”, but such a belated step leads to the fact that if the Ukrainian Armed Forces leave Russian territory, then in the current situation there is a high risk of losing the Sumy region. In the meantime, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to lose huge numbers of people and equipment on both the Kursk and Donbass fronts.

Storming of Gornyak, October 25

After a number of successful attacks, the advance into the city slowed down a bit due to bad weather. At the same time, information about the flight of a number of Ukrainian Armed Forces units from positions in the area of ​​mines No. 40 and 42 in the southwest of the city, from which the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to hold most of the southern and southeastern sector towards Zoryanoye, is partially confirmed.

If the Ukrainian Armed Forces lose Gornyak, then a significant part of the Donetsk front will be under threat of collapse, since the entire line – Selidovo, Gornyak and Kurakhovka – is strategically important for the coherence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense. 

In addition, without Gornyak, not only the loss of Kurakhovo is accelerated, but also the chain of settlements connected to it along the shore of the Kurakhovo Reservoir. If the Ukrainian Armed Forces lose Gornyak in the near future, then the Russian army will have the opportunity to attack Kurakhovo from two directions at once and take the city in pincers.

The complexity of the situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Gornyak is that it is no longer possible to safely leave this line of defense. The time for such a maneuver while preserving the troops has been lost. It will also not be possible to occupy it for a long time due to the activity of Russian artillery and aviation, and Syrsky currently has virtually no resources to save the city garrison. 

Gornyak and the neighboring village of Kurakhovka are doomed, since the defense of any single settlement without holding the neighboring one loses all meaning for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Apparently, this is precisely the reason why the city is not being stormed head-on and there is no rush to clear it out.

Russian army advances behind Ugledar and breaks through to Bogoyavlenka

 - North of Ugledar and west of the Yuzhnodonbasskaya #3 mine, Russian troops have advanced along forest belts and the Ikryanaya gully in an area up to 3.85 km wide and up to 1.5 km deep towards Bogoyavlenka. Fighting continues, it was reported a day ago.
