Despite Bondi’s 2025 claim that a “client list” was sitting on her desk, the DOJ and FBI later issued memos stating no specific “secret client list” exists, leading to a backlash from both parties.
The latest document batches have also triggered investigations abroad, including:
- UK: Allegations that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor shared government information with Epstein.
- Norway & France: Senior diplomats and politicians are being investigated or have resigned following revealed links in the files.
Attorney General Bondi and Deputy AG Todd Blanche argue that heavy redactions (affecting roughly 95% of some documents) are necessary to protect the privacy of survivors. California Rep. Ro Khanna and others have expressed deep disappointment, noting that the law intended to limit redactions only to victim information and active investigations, not high-profile associates.
House Oversight Democrats recently released previously unseen emails subpoenaed from the Epstein Estate, which they claim raise questions about the nature of relationships between Epstein and powerful political figures.
