Where logic is absent, and their belief that their perspective is beyond reproach, hence they are immune to accountability — a projection tactic meant to invalidate the Alliance’s victory.
By refusing to accept the negotiated terms, they are signaling an inability to move beyond their rigid, inviolable position. This perhaps comes directly from their belief that signifies their “divine right to rule”. That their authority is established by divine providence rather than human consent.
They are positioning themselves as defenders of reason itself. That the Alliance’s victory itself violates the fundamental laws of a sane world. In essence, they believe that their will is law and challenging it is sacrilege; that they have absolute ownership of truth.
