Chicago Bears TE Colston Loveland draws Travis Kelce’s attention
Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland made all sorts of waves in his rookie year. Selected as the 10th overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, Loveland showed why Chicago was right to use its first-round pick on him. In 16 games played during the regular season (11 starts), Loveland produced 58 catches for 713 yards and six touchdowns.
Loveland’s successful rookie campaign turned heads across the league. Most recently, the former Michigan Wolverines standout drew the attention of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. The four-time All-Pro tight end shared his opinion of Loveland in a recent episode of his “New Heights” podcast.
Travis Kelce Sends Message on Chicago Bears TE Colston Loveland
The Kelce brothers brought in NFL icon Greg Olsen as their special guest for Wednesday’s show. At one point, Kelce and Olsen discussed Tight End University (TEU), which is an annual gathering of some of the top tight ends in the NFL. Kelce and Olsen co-founded TEU in 2021 alongside San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle.
It was at this point in their conversation that Kelce brought Loveland up, who has emerged as one of the top young tight ends in the game.
“We got a young man cooking over there in Chicago, man,” Kelce said. “Colston Loveland came out hot in ‘Hard Knocks.’”
Kelce and Olsen then went on to discuss Loveland’s viral karaoke performance of the song “Let Me Love You” during training camp. It’s safe to say that the Bears rookie left quite an impression on them.
Chicago Bear rookie tight-end Colston Loveland is having quite the season. It should come as no surprise since he stole the show with his pre-season performance of Mario’s hit “Let Me Love You” at training camp.

Loveland nailed his performance in front of his entire team. His performances on the field all season long were equally impressive.
