OTL: Ravens Mock Draft Roundup
As the offseason begins, the pundits are starting to put together their mock drafts. We’ll do a round-up of them here occasionally. Let’s get our first check-in of the #DraftSzn going!
Garrett Podell, CBS Sports
Olaivavega Ioane, Guard, Penn State
Low, tight hands from Olaivavega Ioane (LG #71) in pass pro. Very strong anchor and grip strength to finish the rep.
As a squared up blocker, he’s extremely impressive. pic.twitter.com/3yoAH6sgDX

I don’t think there’s a Ravens fan out there who wouldn’t be happy to see the organization address either side of the trenches early in this April’s draft. There is no sugarcoating how underwhelming both the offensive and defensive lines were in Baltimore last season, arguably the largest factors in the team’s disappointing season. Addressing the guard position early and grabbing arguably the best interior O-lineman in the draft would be a great step in the right direction. Ioane is a two-year full-time starter, while also recording 13 appearances and five starts in his redshirt freshman year. In his two years as the full-time left guard, Ioane didn’t allow a single sack on 808 pass blocking snaps. The first-team All-American shows real strength in the run game and an ability to get to the second level with ease. Ioane finished 9th in PFF run blocking (78.6), 6th in pass blocking (87.0), and 7th in offensive grading (80.0) on 50% of 1081 snaps, according to PFF. Guard was a clear issue in Baltimore last year, and grabbing a guy like Olaivavega Ioane certainly gets the retooling started properly.

Carnell Tate, Wide Receiver, Ohio State
Finished writing up the top WRs and I ended with Carnell Tate as WR1
Explosive, can sink his hips, good route salesman, and has the best ball skills in this class. Biggest concern is that he’s not very dynamic or balanced after the catch pic.twitter.com/iYGMBUic6G

Wide Receiver might not be the biggest need on the roster, but a talent like Carnell Tate falling in the laps of the Ravens decision makers would be a hard one to pass on. With a talent like Jeremiah Smith lined up alongside him, Tate didn’t receive much of the same hype and love he would’ve as a true WR1. The two-year starter finished the 2025 season with 51 receptions, 875 yards, 9 touchdowns, and an impressive 12/14 on contested catches. Tate’s tape shows a receiver with elite hands and a smooth route-running ability, who can win over the top. His smaller frame could limit his potential as a true “X” receiver, but he receives a lot of similarities to Saints wideout Chris Olave. Should the Ravens see a run on their top linemen early, Tate would be an intriguing “best player available” for DeCosta and company.

Makai Lemon, Wide Receiver, USC

Similar to Carnell Tate, USC wideout Makai Lemon has the potential to make an immediate impact. Lemon is coming off a strong 2025 season, finishing with 79 receptions, 1,156 receiving yards, and 11 touchdowns, while taking home the Biletnikoff award. Lemon is looked at primarily as a slot receiver, a position from which he played 535 of his 708 pass snaps. Lemon has a real knack for getting off a press coverage, utilizing his quickness to bypass press defenders early. His ball tracking abilities and catch timing really stand out on film, compared to others in the class. Over two seasons as a true starter, Lemon has shown he can produce as the number one or number two guy within the system, totaling over 100 receptions and 2,000 yards. It’d be a bit of a head-scratcher to take a slot receiver with the #14 pick, especially with Zay Flowers recording 173 slot snaps last season, a team lead in 2025. However, with a new system taking over in Baltimore and questions surrounding the future of DeAndre Hopkins and the down season from Rashod Bateman, Lemon would be an intriguing selection in Minter’s first season.
Joel Klatt, FOX
Cashius Howell, Edge Rusher, Texas A&M
I think if Cashius Howell (EDGE #9) refines his hand technique he could really develop a speed to power game.
He’s got the torque and explosiveness, but sloppy hands and way too often goes for the short corner bend.
TONS of potential here pic.twitter.com/nbkML2a5xw

Minter’s defensive scheme truly wants to emphasize hard edges: setting the edge, maintaining the outside, and forcing ball carriers towards the middle. Grabbing a guy like Cashius Howell could be the perfect start to building that foundation in Minter’s first year. Pairing another young sack-producer alongside second-round pick from a year ago, Mike Green, could give the Ravens the boost of life they need for the position group. Coming off a lackluster season that produced just 30 sacks as a team, gaining speed and bend on the outside is key to getting the Baltimore pass rush back on track. Howell finished 2025 with 12 sacks and 41 total quarterback pressures, totaling 26 sacks and 119 total pressures in three years as a full starter. The 2025 unanimous All-American led the SEC in sacks and tackles for a loss (14.0), and could help make an immediate impact on a position group that has three pending free agents.
