During Crow-Armstrong’s first at-bat on Friday, April 24, he was met with a chorus of boos followed by trolling from the Los Angeles Dodgers social media team. With right-hander Emmet Sheehan dominant early, he struck out Crow-Armstrong on four pitches for his sixth punchout of the game. The Dodgers’ social media account added to the moment, posting a video of the at-bat paired with one of Crow-Armstrong’s offseason quotes: “A strikeout worthy of taking pictures and whatever.”

While Dodgers fans may have had the early laugh, it was the Chicago Cubs and Crow-Armstrong who ultimately came out on top in the matchup.
