Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell (0)

Kelsey Mitchell had a strong 2025 season with the Indiana Fever. The star guard earned her third All-Star nod and was named to the All-WNBA first team. She enters the 2026 campaign with many expecting her, along with Caitlin Clark, to lead the team to a championship.

In Clark’s absence, Mitchell stepped up big time. She played in 44 regular-season games and eight playoff matchups. The Ohio State product averaged a career-high 20.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 31.4 minutes per game.

Clark is back to 100%, so she Mitchell will not have to do the heavy lifting in the 2026 season. Mitchell can build on her performance last year and potentially experience more success with the team. Rookie point guard Raven Johnson’s addition will also allow her to rest more during the regular season to stay fresh for the playoffs.

In the offseason, Mitchell made franchise history. She signed a one-year, $1.4 million deal on April 11, becoming the first Fever player to make $1 million in a single season.
