Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark

WNBA players attend team media days expecting interviews, photo shoots or to answer questions from fans on Reddit. However, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark wrapped up her press conference on Wednesday by flipping the switch on the press.

Clark entered the WNBA in 2024 and quickly established herself as a rising star. However, she was limited to 13 games last season due to multiple soft tissue injuries. The Fever still made it to the second round of the playoffs, but the two-time All-Star could only watch from the bench.

She has since recovered and is raring to go this season. The league, along with its fans, are also gearing up to see one of its most popular stars back on the court. Clark will look to put her injury issues behind and exceed her 2025 scoring average of 16.5 points on 36.7% shooting, including 27.9% from beyond the arc. She also recorded 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 31.1 minutes per game.

WNBA: Caitlin Clark has some fun at Indiana Fever media day

The Fever marked an important preseason event on Wednesday. Clark headlined media day as the team continues its preparations for the upcoming season.

The WNBA’s Instagram account posted a clip of Clark from Wednesday’s festivities. The 6-foot guard flipped the switch on the reporters in attendance, asking them to squeeze in as she took their photo using her film camera. The WNBA reacted to what Clark did in the post’s caption.

“Uno reverse 🔄 Caitlin Clark flips the script and takes photos of the media 🤣 ,” the WNBA wrote.

Clark started the interaction by saying to the media members that her camera was “like from the 1990s.” She also asked them not to be mad if not everybody would fit the frame.

It wasn’t the first time Clark traded her basketball kit for a camera. She also moonlighted as a sports photographer during the Indiana Pacers-Los Angeles Lakers game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on March 25. She was a credentialed photographer for the matchup, and she showcased the snaps she took of LeBron James on X.
